im about half way, so another 30ish lb to go!
-
i found that it took about 14lb before i noticed a difference. perhaps the break in your weight loss may be part of the reason? not sure really, someone on here may be able to help, but just keep going, it will come off!!

Firstly, the positive thing is your results at the GP- its better to be fat and fit/healthy than slim and unfit/unhealthy- something I personally feel strongly about!!! Secondly, as people have said, it does take time, how long have you been on your journey? have you switched up your exercise routine?

this!

yeh, im sporty anyway so fit (despite my size), psychologically im not a road runner (my head says boring and so i don't do it) but give me a hockey/football/rugby pitch i'll run and run and run, so will be doing lots of running and strength training!!

aim high is what i always say, i find if i aim higher i tend to do better than if i aimed lower. just dont be disappointed if you dont hit that target- remember whatever weight you lose is weight off that you wouldn't have had off before!!

i agree, 3000 is probably a good place to start and see how you go, and i would eat back exercise calories (personally).

I agree, if your struggling, work out your BMR and see what your body needs.
-
im the same. its all psychological. set me in a sports situation and ill run and run and run, but put me in a gym or walking or running- most boring thing and i can't do it. if you don't enjoy it- don't do it, find something you enjoy that you will keep at :)
-
i've added you. can never have too many friends :)
