Low carb, low fat will not magically melt the weight off. You can still be overeating without consuming a lot of carbs. I would suggest that you should reevaluate your plan and start counting your calories. It's the only way to know if you are actually in a deficit or not.....and a deficit is required for weight loss.

You gained 6 pounds in a month? That could easily be fluid retention from exercise or sodium intake, hormonal changes, or over eating. Honestly, it was probably a combination of all of those. Especially since you weren't logging your food. Without tracking, you have absolutely no way of knowing that you were eating in a…

I would like to know this as well. Also, specifically what program are you doing and are you logging/tracking all of your food during this time?

Sounds like you're getting sick. Take some cold meds and see if that helps. If you're feel overly run down or tired, take a step back from the workouts until you feel better. You should drink enough fluids to make your pee very light yellow. That's a sign of good hydration.

The only "trick" is to keep losing weight and reducing your body fat. There are no miracle workouts or diets. Nothing is effective but commitment, dedication and time. That said, even when you reach your goal, you may still have a small pooch. There's not much you can do about it if you do. But, a small imperfection is ok…

It could be. It could be the sodium. It could be your monthly cycle. It's hard to say. Don't worry so much about your weight at the moment. Get well, and then refocus on your efforts.

I agree with this. You're a grown woman. Take care of yourself and don't worry about what they have to say. And if their opinions affect you to this degree, I would suggest that you find a professional that you can discuss this issue with.

This. There are plenty of food choices that provide fats, protein, etc. Choose the ones that appeal to you. Don't eat the ones that don't.
-
1. Eat at a calorie deficit. 2. Play around with your macro settings until you find what feels good for you. 3. Don't deprive yourself.
-
Do you log your food? If not, how do you know you aren't eating too much?

I take my house or car key off the ring and put it on my shoelaces (unlace the first cross and slide the key on, then relace and tie). No pocket or pouch needed and the key isn't going anywhere.
-
To add to that.....invisible fences which provide you with a heart attack before you realize the dog is going to stop just short of the edge of the yard. Not fun.
-
I don't think it's a shoe fit issue. I have friends that get fitted at the same local shop that I do (so I know they're doing it right) and they've lost toenails. *shrug* I think it just happens to some people and not others.

I've never lost a toenail. And I have to pee constantly, but that's just life for me, I guess. I need to pee right now, but I just went 10 minutes ago and I'm pretty sure my coworkers will think I'm weird if I go to the bathroom again.

Only once. I ate some pizza before a run and it was hot out. Learned my lesson that day.

You realize there are more calories in a spoonful of peanut butter than a spoonful of ice cream right? I mean, I can dip a spoon into PB and come out with 180 calories worth of deliciousness......or I can have a whole bowl of Edy's Slow Churned for that. This really isn't great advice. OP - instead, try weighing and…

^This. I've yet to read a success story that says "And I owe it all to raspberry keytones!"

11 days and you're ready to throw in the towel? I'd love to say I was in disbelief, but unfortunately, I'm not. This type of post gets made almost every day. People watch shows like "Biggest Loser" and expect the weight to just fall off of them. In real life, it doesn't quite work like that. You need to double up on your…

That's a question for your doctor or perhaps a physical therapist.

Agreed.

This. And because they are hard. People typically chose the path of least resistance, and squats require a lot of resistance. But I don't mind that no one else does them. It just means I have the rack to myself.

*passes extra sunglasses around* See, isn't that better? And it's surely better than having "white knight" shining all over you? They probably can't find the forums yet either.

Wearing sunglass helps. "blinded by the light....."

I guess I don't. *shrug*

At your current weight, you can probably aim for a 2lb/week loss. As you get closer to your goal, you'll need to reduce that deficit, to a 1lb/week and then 0.5lbs/week. But that's quite a ways away. Do whatever exercise appeals to you. Eat some of those calories back. If you're interested in strength training, Strong…

Ok. But I still don't know why it matters. It shouldn't affect anything about your workouts or diet. You are shaped like you. You should only try to become a better version of you.
-
Can I ask why it matters?
-
Go to a doctor. I don't think anyone has ever had a week-long hangover.
-
Return it and buy a different dress. Eat at a moderate calorie deficit. Do some exercise that you enjoy (even if it's from home). Set yourself up for long term success rather than crash dieting for a specific event.

Yes, yolks have calories. If you're just eating the egg whites, enter the calories for that only (should be in the database).
