Workout or you'll be meeeeee.

I weigh first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, after pooping, naked, and with a scale that accounts for body fat. Check. Mate.

There is no law that says you have to eat certain foods for breakfast. Eat leftovers from lunch or dinner or cook something you like.
-
You can usually find it by the rice.

We are not carnivores. We are omnivores. We are made to consume both plants and animals and it is possible to be perfectly healthy and vegan. It is even possible to be a completely obese fatass and vegan (like me).
-
You should check to see if it's covered by your insurance. A lot of the time a reduction IS covered. Mine was and it was the best decision I've made.

I take B12 once a week and have ground flax seed and vitamin D daily.

Oh, yes! Check out The Happy Herbivore Cookbook. Quite a few recipes in there that call for nutritional yeast.

Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World is threatening to make me even more obese. LOL

Put it on top of spaghetti as a Parmesan substitute.

I bought it based on recommendation from someone and then promptly returned it. It's crass and insulting. They pretty much call you fatasses throughout the book. (I'm already a vegan anyway but their tactics of trying to get others vegan by being insulting is just pathetic.) Try reading 21 Day Weight Loss Kickstart instead…

Cool story, bro.
-
My food expenses (not counting toiletries or sales tax on food but including eating out) range from $100 - $200 a month for my daughter and myself. It's been less since I went vegan and stopped eating out. I've only spent $50 so far this month.

No, that's the USDA.
-
That's the point. You're SUPPOSED to lose slowly.

The problem is people are so brainwashed by the Low Carb Cult that they'll defend it no matter what the evidence says, man.

^ This Before pregnancy (at age 20) I was 175, 5'4" with a 38 DD bra-size and size 9 shoes. During pregnancy I went up to 235 lbs a size 10 shoes and a 44 F. After pregnancy by my 21st birthday I was 5'5", 230 lbs, a size 8 shoes and 42 G (almost an H). CURSE YOU, UTERUS! (I had a breast reduction in '08 and currently have…

Time of the Month. WTG, OP.
-
Yes, vegans can eat grains and sugars. The OP merely avoids them.
-
No, a vegan diet can be just as healthy, if not healthier, than an omnivorous diet if properly planned out. Your information is wrong.
-
It really isn't that hard if you're motivated to go vegan. As to the OP: you really need to start eating grains. The fiber will make you feel fuller and if you include a decent mix of grains you'll get all of the essential amino acids you need. Carbs are not your enemy at all, the animal products are. You don't need…

I do this and get fruits and veggies that I can cut up and freeze well. When avocados go on sale I'll mash them and freeze it. Thaw it, add in chopped tomato and onion and I've got some guacamole. :-)

I'm vegan and prepare my own meals most of the time. My daughter (an omnivore) and I eat for about $200 a month (including the 8% sales tax on groceries in my state). I'd suggest eating meat-free a few days a week to save money (Meatless Mondays, for example). Tips: 1. Buy produce that is in season or use frozen produce…

Awesome!

You're wrong. Underweight = <18.5 Normal weight = 18.5–24.9 Overweight = 25–29.9 Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
-
A BMI of 19 is still within the "normal" range.
-
Actually, fiber is more satiating and that falls under carbohydrates. The problem with carbs is that people chose the WRONG carbs: wonder bread instead of brown rice, twinkies instead of apples, etc.
-
Try this: Take 3/4 of a cup of spinach, add 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa (cooked in broth if you want), 1/4 cup cooked chickpeas and some balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It's a quick salad and it's delicious.

The thing about combining proteins is a myth from a book in the 70s. The author of the book actually now states that you don't need to combine. You see, your body "pools" all of the amino acids together so as long as you're eating a balanced diet you're fine. You don't have to combine your foods at each meal.
