I do run/walk intervals too, at about equal durations, so I just average it out and log as "running x miles/hour".

For me, it's all about the 4th/ring finger "accent nails" now. I paint those a different color than rest & usually with glitter topcoat. Currently sporting Tiffany blue nails with sparkly royal blue accent nails! :)

Every night (usually) I have Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and/or granola mixed in. Great way to get a good dose of extra protein with very low or no fat. And if I do have some fat macros left to splurge, I might stir in a few dark chocolate chips. ;) Interested in others' tips too...

You can always Trap-Neuter-Release to help control the stray population. Many shelters will do it for free or very low cost ($20 or so). Then they mark the animal's ear to signify it's been neutered if someone else brings it in for a TNR.

I live in a large city, but my neighborhood is very safe & well-lit at night. During the day I just keep an eye out for anything/anyone suspicious; at night I run along main roads with streetlights. That way I'd be able to flag someone down if I was in danger.
