Very true! Also toxins from processed foods, pesticides, and dyes have the same effect on your liver and will cause it to spend too much time trying to break them down, and less time digesting the food you eat, hence gaining fat. That is why whole, natural foods are best as well.

Feel free to add me. Mine is 1200 base, but with my exercise calories usually around 1450 (I try to eat those back but do not always succeed.) I try to use mostly whole foods, although that doesn't always work, and easy meals (mom of 4) and am very honest in my diary down to the little stuff!

I have to agree with the other ladies, 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels, its only a 25 minute workout including warm up and cooldown, and the 5 lbs will kick your butt the first few days for it. I actually had to switch to 3lbs for the first few days and am trying 5lbs again now. I don't have much upper body strength…
