W5 D2 today and actually looking forward to it. I must be losing my mind.

Took last week off (had company in town and they slept till noon in the room with my treadmill) and restarted day before yesterday on W5 D1. TOTAL FAIL. No more time off. Period. Am going to do a redo today.....and I WILL FINISH.

Do you feel better? Maybe try to focus on that and not the scale. I'm 5'3 and eat 1600 avg. per day and am losing (slowly, very very slowly). Doing C25K and strength training and I'm kinda feeling like a badass right now and that badass feeling is what is getting me through the "scale hardly moving" part of it. Just a…

No doubt sauerkraut.....would be lucky to walk out with a third of that. :noway:

^^^^This. Has improved my quality of life greatly.

We've got one up here (Alaska) on June 28th. I'm tempted, but I signed up for a 5k mudrun with my sister and brothers on the 8th, so I think I'll see how that goes first! Kinda nervous.....my sister is a powerhouse, my one brother was a college wrestler and my other brother is a nationally ranked collegiate athlete for…

Week 4 day 1 today. Was pretty tough, but was proud of myself for finishing. :glasses:

I am in the same boat. My husband is also a big guy, my 16 year old is 6'2" and my 13 year old is 5'8". They all have enormous appetites. We just eat "normal". I just either eat less of whatever we are having for dinner, or swap out a higher calorie side dish for a small salad or extra veggies. I have found planning ahead…

I just peeked ahead to see what I was in for on Tuesday.
Oh yeah, heaven forbid I get annoyed with grandma because she's not dead.
Your true colors showed the moment you typed these words.

Just eat. Get back on track Monday. Life/Superbowl/Holidays happen. :drinker:

This thread makes we want to hug my kids and then call my mom and tell her that I'm so grateful that she spoils my kids rotten.

Week 2 day 3 tomorrow. Signed up for a mud run with my brothers and sister in June and I cannot let them down !!! :flowerforyou:

You can still eat all these foods as long as you stay within your calorie goal. :drinker:

There are several different IF protocols to choose from. So you would really have to do some research to see what would be a good fit for you. I prefer the 16/8 as I am naturally a no breakfast person, and I find having a pretty considerable sized meal for dinner pretty much knocks out my bad late night snacking habit.

I am the same way. If I force myself to eat breakfast I'm starving all day. I eat when I am hungry and that just happens to be around 1pm.

Just signed up a team with two of my brothers and one of my sisters!! I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't seen your post a few days ago! Thanks!! Super excited!!!:flowerforyou:

Count me in!! I am: 36 Current: 174 Goal: 140 Height: 5'3" Goal weight loss for this week: 2 lbs. Exercise goal for this week: 6 hrs.

I also do all the shopping and cooking. I make the same foods, some with healthier substitutions, and I occasionally throw in a new healthy recipe I have found and want to try. We have always eaten reasonably healthy home cooked meals so it's not really the food that caused me to put on weight, it was my portion sizes.

Congrats!!! Great job and very inspirational!!!

Way to go!!!
