I walked the Las Vegas Rock n Roll half marathon a few years ago. It took me 3 hours 45 minutes. I followed a half marathon running training program but walked instead. It is definitely doable.

I have the fitbit one. I wear in on my bra, no one can see it. I love all the features. I sync it to my phone and my fitness pal and gives me extra insight into how I'm progressing during the day and how much I can eat.

I take 2-3 short walks around the block during the work day. I started doing this when I quit smoking a month ago as a way to still go outside and not smoke. An unexpected side effect is that it also helps me get over a hunger craving. Not only good for the body, but the mind too.

Why aren't HRM accurate for strength training. Don't they just count the calories you are burning during any given activity? I also use it for hiking and yoga. Just trying to learn and lose.

I've been using a heart rate monitor that tells me how many calories I burn.

I'm on day 32. The cravings are still really bad...and I want to eat EVERYTHING! I've gained about 2 lbs, but that was also over the holidays. I'm using the nicorette mini lozenges and they really help when a craving hits.

I have this problem too. I would hit up the vending machine for breakfast and fast food for lunch (sometimes for dinner too). I have been shopping at Trader Joes and get the pre-made salads with chicken for lunch. The dates are usually good so I'll get one for everyday. For breakfast I throw 2 packets of oatmeal in my bag…

Nexium has been a life saver for me. Every food would give me reflux and I was even throwing up in my sleep. Yeah, not fun to wake up to. I'm also lactose intolerant, I use the lactaid pills when I'm going to eat any dairy. Though I generally stay away from it. Your best bet would probably be going to see a GI dr.

aeropostle for jeans, I get them in the short size. Hem tape has become my new best friend for pants that need to be shortened quickly. I'm on Depo Provera and I didn't gain any weight when I started it. I have put on about 6 lbs in the last year, but that is due to poor eating and lack of exercise. Weight gain was a fear I had when I started it, but it was worth it to not have pain due to endometriosis.

I use the C25K FREE app on my iphone. It tells you when to walk and run with a 5 minute warm up and cool down. Last Thanksgiving I used a smaller plate than everybody else. I didn't feel like I was depriving myself because my plate was full, but in actuality I was eating less than I normally would have.

5' 0" Currently 128-130 lbs - Pant Size 10 or 12 depending on the brand. Shirt Size small or Medium - right now mediums are more comfortable .

I'm also 5' with boobs and hips. I started out at 136 (size 12) I'm at 124 now (size 8/10). My first goal is to get to 112, ultimately I want to be a size 2-4 again which I think I'd need to be around 105 lbs. I was 95lbs until I was 21, that's when I felt my best.
