okay, logging 20 min cleaning EVERYDAY, that is deluding yourself. Unless this person is like 400lbs and on the verge of dying due to their life-style.

My activity level is set at sedentary. So I log certain activities as exercise, for example if I walk to the store instead of drive. I carry my baby all the time, but if I am playing with him by lifting him over my head and dancing about with him, I log that. I log massive cleaning like if I re-arrange furniture or I clean…

I did not know that! I did 10 days straight at level 1 and then 1 day off and 10days straight at level 2. Then couldn't motivate to go back to it knowing how hard level 2 was I couldn't convince myself to try level 3. No wonder I was feeling completely burnt out. I'll do rest days this time around.

like the previous poster, I did 20 days and stopped that was 2 weeks ago. I started level 1 again today. It wasn't as hard as the first time I did level one but my knees are killing me.

Mine is only 9 months and I use him as a weight he loves rough housing so baby squats (normal squat holding baby out so when you're down his toes hit the ground) and baby lifts (come out of the squat and lift baby as high as you can) he just cracks up. But wow, 10 kg is getting a bit tough on my knees. Before he was mobile…

I had a c-section 9 months ago. As I am loosing weight that little flap is going away bit by bit. I suggest double and reverse crunches. I don't know how long ago yours was but make sure your stomach muscles are healed first. I took a post-partum recovery exercise course to repair mine. They had you do a lot of oblique…

I was really addicted to soda in High School. Then we did this biology experiment where we made our own cola. Well, I made the mistake of drinking mine and I could taste the yeast in ANY soda for about a year. I think I drank a total of 3 sodas that year. After that I just have never been interested in it. I never have it…

wow! Thanks everyone again for all the words of encouragement! I didn't expect such a reply to my vent. :blushing:  I have signed up for a strollercize class. It starts next week. It's the first one in Hamburg (Germany) so the leader was waiting for nicer weather to begin. My little one loves his stroller and being…

I'm not a guy, but I don't wear my rings at the gym for the same reason I don't wear them while working pyro, in the machine shop or on the factory floor. When I was in college if the machinist saw you in his shop with rings or dangly jewelry or clothes he'd kick your butt out and tell you to change or put your jewelry in…

moving can be stressful. We moved in December, so there was Christmas and a baby and bla bla bla. I understand the moving thing. Thanks for the support. I think I get better day by day and hopefully I learn from this experience and don't do the same thing the next time my husband is off work. I go back to work in August…

Aerospace Engineering. And I work as an Electrical Engineer on Airbus aircraft....Go figure. My husband is a double major in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, he did the same thing up until Monday. Now he's in charge of ensuring electrical cables are installed without problems in a section of the A350. One of his…

I have a "cheat day" every Sunday. By "cheat day" I mean I watch what I eat, I don't down two big macs, large fries, shake, cola large pizza and cake and ice cream. I mean that if I found myself craving a piece of chocolate cake or a bowl of ice cream during the week, I tell myself not until Sunday. Then on Sunday, if I…

wtf? I walk the same speed. 4 mph, tracked with my tracks app. sometimes I feel new mothers and pregnant women are discriminated against on this site. At least on some of the boards. *edit, I thought someone would actually think I was seriously offended, I was making a sarcastic remark about the discrimination thing

depends on how you set your lifestyle. And where you are at fitness wise. After I had my son I counted cleaning as exercise. I also counted walking to the corner and back. But just standing up out of bed was super hard. I had a c-section and I felt like my stomach was going to come off and fall on the floor. I don't…

once in college. Couldn't stick to it and it was expensive (for a college student) and I had no support. My parents told me to stop wasting money and grow a little will power. My friends told me I didn't need to diet I was fine.

you still pee right? You are not going to die of water intoxication if you allow yourself to pee when you have to. You also get rid of water by sweating and breathing. Trust your body. If you drink more water than your body thinks you need you will: 1)have to pee 2)sweat more 3)throw it up 4)diarrhea *edit: if you you are…

before anyone accepts anti-depressants from their doctor, please ask him or her for a thyroid exam. It's just a blood test. I can tell when my dose needs to be adjusted because I get severely depressed and I stress easy and anxiety takes over. It's amazing the change in my mood when my dose is corrected.

I went from about 98 kg to 63kg after going back to old habits and having a baby I went back up to 92 kg and losing weight again. I love to hear comments like "wow you look great" or "the weight is really coming off" it's super motivating for me. The one thing I didn't like the last time I lost weight was that I did it by…

Maderma. It's expensive but it does reduce the visibility of them, my sister used it. I've heard good things about burt bee's mama bee stuff too, but haven't tried it. I use Garnier's body repair cream it comes in a big red bottle, they are fading but I don't think they will ever go away. I don't mind my stretch marks…

I learned to make my own since I moved to Germany and couldn't find it. I mix quark, low fat buttermilk, plain yogurt (greek thickens it a bit) with chives, corriander (cilantro), garlic powder and onion powder, salt and pepper. Not really ranch but close enough.

I must be addicted every time I try to cut it out of my diet I get dizzy and these horrible headaches.

I started 30DS, in late Feb. I did 10 days straight at level 1 took a day off did 4 days straight at level 2 took a day off and now I am on day 6. I don't think I will be moving on to level 3 anytime soon, I am also changing my tactic to 6 days a week instead of every day. I also go on walks about 3-4 times a week. I have…

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. It was like the perfect storm that made it. It was that time of the month, it always causes water retention problems along with bowl problems let's say. In addition I had started strength training that week. I also realized I was eating a ton of sodium (that's when I started…

Aerospace Engineer on maternity leave until August. I am on a team that designs the electrical cable routing in the A380. I always feel the need to clarify my job. Once someone asked me what I do for a living and I said Aerospace Engineer and he said "Whut's that, like a stewardess or sumthin'?" I just wanted to break his…

I got the cranberry thing wrong. My mom gets UTI's and the doctor told her to drink cranberry juice so I thought well.... Got the tomatoes thing wrong too. And the chocolate raisins one, but I knew it was wrong when I decided chocolate. Oh well, 7 right, so that means I'll live into old age :-)

Love the combo. I think you look fantastic! The dress is amazing. I would match it with maybe a silver or white gold chain and charm like bracelet and some lightly dangly short earrings (again white gold or silver or something like that). I like the idea of a previous poster of your hair in an elegant and sexy twist. Do…

When you are ready to settle down. I got married at 25 and thought that was a good age, my husband was 34 and he thought that was a good age, maybe a little later than he planed but he has admitted to me that he wouldn't have been ready before that. We were only dating a few months when we got engaged but we knew each…

don't like raisins used dried blueberries instead - very tasty :-)

can you get him to go to the doctor? I know it can be hard to get elderly parents to the doctor when they don't think anything is wrong with them. I was worried about something similar with my mom so I called her doctor and told her about it. The doctor addressed it without ever mentioning that I called.
