  • I grew up in Arizona and the Grand Canyon was so close we spent many many weekends there. I was amazed when I found out it was one of the World Wonders and it was practically my back yard. Have you ever gone on an all day hike?

  • My Obgyn also told me that you can push on them (gently if necessary) and the pressure put on them can help reduce their size. I would do this and, most of the time, it would make them totally disappear after a couple of days. I also only used Witch Hazel.

  • FitBit is a glorified step counter. It tells you how many steps you took, how many calories you burned, how many miles you walked and (if you get the One) how well you sleep at night and how much sleep you got. I am 9 weeks pp as of today and am 2.2lbs from prepregnancy weight but then I still have 58lbs to go after that.

  • I have have a bugger of a time controlling my appetite, yes. I really want my junk food and think I should be able to have it, yes. But, I also really want to achieve my goals. I epically failed today when I caved to all the junk. Weigh in in tomorrow morning, I am sure I will be appropriately punished by the scale.
  • I remember, years ago, when I would have shots competitons on a drinking night with friends. 17shots - I could hit that every time. I always managed at least 20, usually closer to 30 - my record is 32. Granted there is a reason I haven't touched alcohol in going on 6 years now.
  • I have a RL friend here that just had an emergency Csection 3 weeks early because of dangerously low fluid levels. They told her a couple months ago that her fluid was low - it has been getting worse and worse at every appt until she didn't have a choice anymore. Baby had to come out.
  • 1800 is supposed to be the minimum for any breastfeeding mom. There are physical, mental, emotional and medical reasons you are not supposed to resume exercise yet and there are very real reasons why the time frame is put at 6 weeks. Please allow yourself this time. That is all.

  • I started tracking food again consistently as of Monday last week at about 7 weeks pp. I am glad I did not worry about food until then and am glad that I am now. I felt that 7 weeks was about right. .... Sorry about the mastitis. That stuff sucks!

  • Are you breastfeeding? I think bfing makes it so hard to not eat too much. I am always hungry. I think eating too much is the reason I am moving slower than I would like as well.

  • False. Seen them and could have eaten if I wanted to but didn't. TNP has wished they could just up and move somewhere that they could disappear from their current life entirely and just start fresh all over again somewhere else.

  • You are doing just fine. The stress is going to hurt you and baby more than the weight. Just eat healthy and don't worry about the scale. After baby is born you can work it off.
