I'm actually not 18. I sorta fudged on that. I'm almost 16, in a few months. And thanks. College is my next escape after high school's over with.

My mom had the surgery December of 2005. She's still not used to the foods, they told her she never would be. I know she didn't lose the weight overnight. I'm just upset with my mom because she never would have cared about all this, she never would have been so materialistic (for lack of a better word). Now she's all "ew,…

I would like to join, even though it's a little late in the week. I've been really bad on water today. I got to bed in 3 hours, and I've only gotten 5 glasses in. :grumble:

Argh, that post was really long (sorry) and yet it still feels like I didn't even get to explain half of what I'm feeling.

It means that pineapple is so low in calories that your body burns more digesting it than what's in the actual food. They're called backwards calories, negative calories, etc.

My mom had gastric bypass in 2006. The soda will definitely be making her sick. My mom can't drink more than 2 sips, and she's like "Okay, I'm going to puke." Gastric bypass also makes many people lactose intolerant. My mom uses butter and oils (not to that extent) and she hasn't had any problems with them. The main…

CONGRATS! I just experienced this feeling awhile ago. It's awesome, isn't it? Good luck on the rest of your journey.

Thank you. It feels awesome.

I'm craving a salad. This must be good, right? Instead of 'taters and beef, a nice big salad with a little dressing sounds nice. Woohooo!

LOL, I freeze the normal Yoplait yogurt. They have an Orange Cream, I freeze it, let it defrost a few minutes, then YUMMY. It's ice cream to me.

LOL, we go from dreaded exercises to bras. =D Mine are... lunges (I hated doing them, and being in the athletic-integrated PE class, we did them everyday), push ups, and... pull ups (I rarely ever do them, which is why I suck at them, which is why I hate doing them). Haha. For some reason, I love every aspect of weight…

Well, this probably isn't much help, but it usually hits around 105 during our typical summer. It won't seem like much, but a nice bike ride is usually what I do if I can't get to the gym, and there's no space in the house. Go fast enough that you feel the wind in your face. You may not be able to go fast enough to get in…

Hm... 37 seconds today. Oh well, at least I'm from 34 yesterday. I remember in 7th grade, we did these for volleyball, and I used to go for 5 minutes.
-
Right back atcha!

I'm in. Gotta find an empty wall, now... I'll edit with my time. Edit: LOL, I'm so pathetic. 34 seconds, and then I fell. My legs were goin' shakety-shake, and then WHAM, I fell against my door. My mom ran in and was like "Ohmygod! What happened?" And I was laughing like crazy at myself.

I know what you mean, my sister works at Baskin Robbins, and she's gained a lot of weight, because they get free ice cream while they work. And my dad knows the owner, and I've become good friends with him too, so now he lets my sister bring home stuff to me too.

I posted this on the other board, but I wanted to make sure you saw it-

I know this may not help the current situation, but in the future, you could use the form provided here: http://sadd.org/contract.htm It's the SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) Contract for Life. Any young person who signs it agrees that if they are ever in a risky situation getting a ride home, they could call their…

Oh, well I've had an irregular period since I first started when I was 11. It just scares me when I go more than 6 months without one. Though... I shouldn't really have to worry about it... no problems in THAT department. =) If you know what I mean.

Wow! Well, my goal this week is 1500 steps, because my mother and I went to the waterpark yesterday, and, it's ALL STAIRS. Each ride is 75+ stairs (75 for the shortest ride) and I went on twenty rides. I went nuts! It was a bunch of fun, AND I got tan, too! EVEN BETTER THOUGH, I didn't go crazy and pig out on all the bad…
