I agree....you have to do what is right for you and your body. I quit going to the gym for other reasons, but I found what kept me motivated and what I enjoyed at home. I look forward to my workouts every morning in my own basement! It's all a matter of doing what you enjoy and keeps you motivated, it doesn't matter where…

Since it is his Mom, I would tell him after you get to her house, that you are going to go visit your Mom at the Cemetary, any person, be it a husband or whoever, should be more than ok with that.(I would hope he could hold the fort down with his Mom while you are out) Best wishes to you-you certainly deserve time to visit…

Yes, I'm an empty nester....both our Girls are done with college and successfully working/on their own. It was a huge adjustment for us (married to my best friend for almost 30 yrs in July). At first I worked very hard around the house,thinking that's what I needed to do, paint/change things around etc, then it dawned on…

You have already "won" this week, you're on your way to a new, healthy life change, that in itself is a huge first step! Had the same thing when I started to really work out....it was plantar fascitis...and what helped me was stretching ALOT!! I stretched up to 3 x a day and before I knew it, it was a thing of the past....it hasn't been back since.
