  • Just my.02 - regardless of the delivery, I can see a bit of the poster's point. When I see that someone has been successful at losing weight, I like looking at their diary for food/meal ideas and how their choices relate to their exercise & success. However, I guess there are some people that would be judgemental to the…
  • So glad I found this post. I just bought this same scale about 2-3 weeks ago and I have been so disappointed! I spent $40 on this scale...definitely not the cheapest one at BBB. It keeps telling me I weigh less than I know I weigh....then I get to work and weigh myself but it's of course, not upon awakening (you know what…
  • Maybe this will make you feel better - I have a friend who had the surgery and so did her husband. Truth is, your husband won't be able to eat as much...use that to your advantage. Start preparing small, healthy meals for you both & the kids and you will lose the weight. Start experienting with different varieties of foods…
  • *BUMP* I wish I liked oatmeal...hard to believe I don't like oatmeal but I like instant grits....LOL
  • Ok, I have my munchy snacks ready - getting the vodka today and Crystal Light....Weekend begins at 1:30 est today and ends Monday......FULL WEEKEND of football and racing......bittersweet, excited to have a good time with friends, scared to death of the temptation and throwing everything out the window. On a brighter note,…
  • Ok, I'm in. Thanks for the new thread. I have had doubt that its the calories but 2-3 days after a binge (6 beers or equivalent alcohol) has anyone put on 3-4 lbs? It keeps happening to me and not drinking is not an option......opening day for college football (GO DAWGS!) and I'll be at the Atlanta race Rv'ing...heck, I'll…
  • Thanks for posting this...made them Wednesday night - I just put a little pizza sauce, fresh mushrooms, few spinach leaves & mozz on mine and my son just had mozz on his and we both loved it. (My son rolled his up like a burrito) Really satisfies the pizza crave... Make sure you spray & bake your flatout 1st for 7 min and…
  • Go to sparkpeople.com and look for recipes for items you have on hand. Cooking Light is an awesome magazine with recipes for "ordinary" things - not exquisite, hard to prepare recipes.
  • AWESOME POST! Thanks for sharing!!!!! Shelli
  • BUMP...thanks for the insight....I usually have 3-4 beers on Fri/Sat night, every other weekend....crazy schedule, I know but its when I don't have my boys (11 & 13)......with UGA football coming, it will be an all day Saturday thing....my plan is for every beer, drink 8oz of water in between...pray for me!!! Shelli
  • I have done L1D2....I really do like the DVD....I like that its only 20 min and it's not cardio all at once...it's spaced out......
  • Definitely Sons of Anarchy & Big Brother!!!!
  • I log it as general cardio
  • L1D1 started yesterday - used 2lb weights, which was all I had, aside from the 8lb weights I knew was too much to start with. Didn't really think I was getting alot out of it with 2lb weights, nice cardio & heart rate was up....was kinda doubting the effect....UNTIL THIS MORNING! My arms, shoulders, legs are quite…

  • Bringing this thread back to life....;) I am 5'3 1/2" and currently at 141....I want to lose down to 127-125...anyone else in my boat? It is so frustrating.....I have lost 4 lbs since 7/26.....after a busy summer of Las Vegas, Amelia Island FL, etc.....145 was on me overnight. I thought I would lose it pretty quicky with…
  • Thanks for the question - I just bought it today and I am curious as well on how to log it.
  • BUMP! We all need to stick together - my weakness is 1-2 nights every other weekend, about 6 beers with each occurrence, when I don't have my kids and my husband and I act like kids! LOL
  • Thanks for the encouragement everyone! Just what I needed...I had forgotten that 3500 calories make a pound - that made me feel lots better! Best of luck to all of you on your journey!
  • Yes, I do weigh EvERYDAY! It keeps me focused on the mission! I did open up my food diary....I just realized I had it for friend view only. Thanks for all the wonderful feedback....
