I have been a vegetarian for 19 years and it has nothing to do with hurting animals. I just don't like the taste or texture. I eat eggs, cheese and chicken broth. And that is as close to eating meat as I get.

I am vegetarian too and always eat the whole egg because it is a source of Vitamin D. I don't get it much else in my diet because I don't drink milk and I am on low carb so no cereal, bread ect.

I am vegetarian on low carb diet. I eat quite a bit of sodium though. Add a couple tablespoons unsalted butter a day and you should be good to go.
-
Wow you look great! Can't believe no one noticed! I am sure you can feel the difference though.
-
I always visualize it by pounds of butter which is 4 stick per pound.

No. You can replace butter with applesauce, coconut oil, plain Greek yogurt.

Taco sauce- 1 tablespoon just isn't enough!

My husband flew several times when he was 365 and 6'3". The only problem is you cannot sit In an emergency exit seat. They made him move his seat once because they said in an emergency if he were passed out others would not be able to get over him to get out.

I think MFP gives me 1650 but I try to do 1300-1400 and it's not that hard for me. I eat 4 times a day so my snack is kind of another small meal. I am also vegetarian. I think my diary is open.

I love water but In the winter I get so cold I want something warm to drink so I warm up a mug of water and put some lemon juice in it.

Apple cider vinegar has nothing in it and I love the tang!

Eat whole fat plain yogurt and mix your banana in that. Low fat yogurt has added sugar.

I am also doing low carb and find it easier then just cutting calories. I am also vegetarian so I struggle a little with low carb because I can't eat steak, bacon, burgers ect.
-
I love it but don't eat it often now that I am on a low carb diet

Only random people who friend me

I like to sauté it in butter with a little garlic salt

I started low carb on January 31st and I have lost 20 pounds. I am also vegetarian so it makes it a little more challenging.

I have been eating 4 meals a day and keep each between 300-400 calories and 5-6 carbs each. Personally for me right now I don't want a large meal because I am trying to only eat until I am no longer hungry.

I am doing it currently and have lost 20 my first month

I eat pretty much the same things every day. I am a vegetarian and doing low carb so I don't have much choice. I eat eggs with cheese and 2 cups coffee for breakfast. Lunch is either a salad with olives , cucumbers and feta or a low carb wrap with cheese, tofurkey and mayo. Dinner is usually a veggie burger and salad Or…

I have not looked into whey protein, I might check it out though. I have been eating a lot of cottage cheese and also light string cheese. As far as veggies go I usually eat some with light ranch dressing at lunch time. For dinner I have a salad loaded with veggies and also usually another cooked veggie. Broccoli is my…

Wow thanks for posting this! I have Gestational Diabetes and have to stick to 15 carbs for breakfast. This will be perfect! Going to try it tomorrow!

I have a doctor appointment today. I am curious to see what my weight is. If anything I think I may have just stayed the same which is what I am hoping for. I have not gained anything since 27 weeks and lost one pound since then.

Thanks so much! I am a vegetarian so I eat a lot of veggies anyway. The hardest thing for me is getting enough protein. I have been eating eggs every morning for breakfast and lots of low carb veggie burgers. I did not have GD with my last two pregnancies and my last daughter was 9 pounds 3 ounces! I am really hoping this…

I am 33 weeks and found out at about 29 weeks that I have Gestational diabetes. I had gained 26 pounds before that. I have since lost 1 pound. My doctor put me on a low carb diet and I am also taking a pill to control my sugar levels. Anyone else have Gestational Diabetes?
