I do low carb and was very strict the first month and lost 25 pounds. My husband lost 40 his first Month. We did it with pretty much no exercise. So I think it is technically possible but he will have to be very strict with his carbs. No more then 20 a day.

Personally my goal is to just get to a "normal" BMI which I am now one pound away from. But I still feel and look fat when I look in the mirror. I will probably aim for at least 10 more. I am not attracted to super thin men. I also would not go for a body builder type. I am most attracted to average size I guess.

I started low carb 8 months ago and down 76 pounds. At first I did 20g carbs daily. Now I keep it around 100g.

Sudden weight gain of that amount could also be a sign that your kidneys are not working properly. I think I would go get checked by a doctor.

You should have your thyroid level checked. If they are off it might be causing this. My period has been lighter and shorter since losing 70 pounds in 7 months so I am sure weight loss can cause it.

I stick to under 100g carbs daily. July 31st will be 6 months since I started it and I am down almost 70 pounds. I also count calories too.

Just keep tracking and if you stay under your calories you will succeed. I find keeping carbs to 100g or less helps me to not crave sugary treats.

Calories are important. I tried eating at 1200 for a few weeks and didn't lose anything. I went back up to 1400 and started dropping weight again. Your body needs a certain amount just to function properly.

I did 1200 for a while and couldn't lose. Went back up to 1400 and lost 3 pounds. For me it actually seems to work most for me to eat 1200 for a couple days a week and then 1400 a couple.

How old is your baby? Are you exclusive breastfeeding or has the baby started solids or supplementing Formula at all? You can only count on the 500 calories if you are exclusive and usually this is with a baby under 6 months. I only counted 300 calories after 6 months of age. Looking at your profile picture I see a huge difference. I find for me I am becoming more self conscious about how I look the more I lose. Sometimes I have to see some before pictures to remember exactly where I came from.

Took 30 pounds before anyone noticed my loss. I didn't go around telling people I was trying to lose though. One lady didn't notice until I was 55 down.
