I add one to two tablespoons of heavy whipping cream to my 1 year olds milk to add extra calories.

When I plateau I find changing up my calories helps. Do a day at 1200 and then go back to 1400-1500 and see if that gets the scale moving agai .

I started low carb in January and I have never felt better.

1/4!cup of walnuts is 200 calories.

I don't like those either but the Blue Bunny sugar free ice cream bars are good and only 100 calories.

As for fat cats I actually put my cat on a diet for a month and he gained 2 pounds! He gets no treats and no table scraps so I have no idea how he is gaining. He is indoor only cat. Went from 13-15 pounds

I have 4 children and I agree it is the parents responsibility to teach their children how to eat and to get them active. I also think schools fail them in the exercise. Gym is only 2 days a week and they only get one 15 minute recess daily. I think an hour of physical activity should be required every day of school.

Did they give you steroid shots or oral steroids for it? Those can make you put on weighht. I also have 3 herniated discs and the oxycodone they gave me made me lose 15 pounds so I had the opposite effect.

You look pretty good. Have you tried some toning exercises? I think that is all you really need to do. Maybe try Pilates or yoga.

This is what I pretty much do too. I just stick to under 100 g carbs a day and for me most of those carbs come from vegetables and a few fruits like berries.

Yes you can. I started on January 31st and down 55 pounds. Most of the weight lost was the first 3 months. I started at 235

I eat a lot of celery and it doesn't seem to have that affect on me lol

The best part about low carb for me personally was after the first two weeks I stopped craving carbs and I hardly ever feel hunger. I think it could kick start your loss to try it. The first couple weeks I did 20 g carbs a day and then upped it to just staying under 100 g a day. I still don't eat breads, pastas or cakes…

I have been doing 1200 because I stalled but it did not help at all. Today I changed to 1350 and going to see what happens

You could also just put lightly and then log all the exercise.

I am vegetarian and been low carb since January. I have noticed a difference is my belly but also in my legs and butt. I think it is just that I am losing all over and not just my belly. I also still have a long way to go.

I gained by eating way too many carbs. The more I ate the more I craved those. Pretzels, pasta, pizza, bagels, cookies, cereal ect. I have been losing doing the opposite and keeping carbs under 100 g.
