I do 2 days a week of heavy lifting and 3 days a week of cardio that includes lifting (exp. cross fit). "normal cardio" bores the heck out of me.

I do 2 days each week of heavy lifting and 3 days each week of cross fit type workouts. Squats are my favorite lift. I always enjoy the other workouts because I put them together on my own, circuits and stuff. It's a good time.

If you are lifting, you are golden. "In shape" is relative. Nothing transforms your body like lifting. walking is a great cardio exercise.

I just left a job that I loved and made a lot of money to help my family.. so now I'm serving tables. I like it but its an 80% pay decrease... I don't like that. I graduate in December so hopefully... life will bring me something completely different. Also, getting my PT certification and going to grad school. :)

Nothing on that list is bad for you... he has an allergy. Keep eating almonds! They are a staple in my diet :)

Don't be afraid to eat. Stay clear of pasta or anything that may drop red sauce on you lol. But order real food and eat it. Watch the news tonight so you have current topics to discuss. Think through things you know about him and that he is interested in and plan in your mind some things you can ask when things get quiet.…

How are you measuring your burned calories? If you are using MFP calculations you are probably burning far less. I suggest you invest in an HRM and get an accurate count. I am pretty fit and my workouts are pretty intense and I usually burn between 400-600.

forget about your skeleton frame and measure your body fat? If it's to high, bring it down. I always used the big bone excuse too. I was 220 lbs and 44% body fat. Now I'm 164 lbs and 27% body fat. My goal is 145 lbs and 21% body fat. I don't have "big bones" I have a lot of muscle. That's why at 5'1 I'm never going to be…

I think it'll make a difference for people who care. Everyone wants a treat once in a while. McDonalds is delicious! When I go to Panera I check the calories and order accordingly and I have been for months. I did the same thing just this last weekend at McDonalds. Personally, I'm glad it's there.
-
The cost fact is the only con. I was eating clean for a long time and I felt so much better. I've let that go for about a month now. Hopefully I can jump back in soon.
-
Totally. Sounds like a plan.

I average about 1500 cals a week which is my BMR. My cals are set at 1300. If I don't workout I eat that. If I do workout I eat back my exercise cals. I wear an HRM so I can have an accurate burn calculation. If I eat more than that, I won't lose.

Guys who look at me like, "what are you doing on our side of the gym". People who don't rack their weights People who don't wipe down their machines when they are finished.

Mine was low cost about $70. I got it at Target. It is New Balance Brand. Make sure you get one with a chest strap for the most accurate counts.

seriously.. they really have nothing to do with each other. Drop the carbs in your diet for the next 2 weeks and focus on weight training and you'll prolly get into the 10's no problem. I've lost only 2 lbs in the last month but gone from size 16 to 12. I lost 66 lbs and went from 22 to 16. See.. not really much to do with…

yup. :)
