Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It really did help me to look at the bigger picture. I am going to re-think some of the things I am currently eating and change up my work outs. I tend to forget how many different factores can affect the scale ( hormones, PMS, stress ect) I really am in a good place…

THank you!

I am not sure what my body fat % is.... I should probably look into that. I just want to clear this up, so you are saying I should up my calories? I have no problem doing that. Would you say a 100-200 cal deficit at the end of each day is appropriate? Hate to bother you, just wondering what you think I should do. I have…

WOW! You know your stuff! It's hard because what I have been doing the last 5 months has been working and to see the results stop makes me frustrated. I did take a look at some other calculaters and it said I should be eating more.... I will give it a try. Plus, with the Insanity workouts, they say you should eat more to…

I haven't been measuring myself, but I guess it's something I should start doing... I have been lifting and running more, so perhaps I am building muscle! Thanks for the encouraging words!

Thank you so so much for posting this. I just had my Mirena IUD put in 4 weeks ago and lost 2.4 pounds that week! I really do think that if you have the IUD placed right after having a baby, you will have all those post-baby symtoms that are totally NORMAL!

I am 5 foot exactly. When I had my daughter in July of 2010, I weighed 208. I now weigh 150.2 Check out my profile for my before and after pic. I still wanna lose 15 more pounds.....

First off, you need to give yourself some time! You just had a baby 4 MONTHS ago! We are not celebrities! We don't have trainers and personal chiefs at our disposal! There is such a stigma about losing all the baby weight. If you are nursing and want to continue to do so, I would stop counting calories. You need to eat…

TOTALLY! I just hit 150 (28 pounds lost) and I still don't feel thin enough!

5 foot exactly My weight is pretty distributed evenly. I used to have a great rear end, but after 2 kids, it's gone and moved to the front! I am an athletic build (soccer player for 19 years and counting) I am stalky but fit. Weight when I had my daughter in 2010: 208 pounds 5/2012 SW:178 CW: 150.2 GW: 135 I weighed 135 in…

I am assuming that it took for than just a couple months for the weight to come on and what I have learned is that it will probably take double that to take it off. I was 208 pounds 2 years ago and it took me that long to get to where I am now, 58 pounds lighter. DON'T GIVE UP. What really healped me was finding…

Good for you for starting this early after having a baby! That is one of my main regrets is that I didn't start sooner! You can totally do it! I forgot to post also that I have inpirational quotes and pics on my fridge. Helps when I wanna reach in it for something unhealthy!!! Keep it up and don't quit!!!! Feel free to add…

THANK YOU! I really really really needed to hear this message today! Last week I lost 2.4 pounds and was .2 pounds away from my first goal weight, but I gained it all back this week. I weighed in yesterday and do every friday. I am seriously depressed. All because of that STUPID number on the scale! I need to make sure it…

I know things can get pretty busy and losing motivation to workout is becoming a real problem for me. I just think we need to not be so hard on ourselves! 60 pounds lost is a HUGE accomplishment! Just try to remember why you started this in the first place and if you need a new goal, get one. We all have our bad days and…

I was .2 pounds away from my first goal weigh last week and because of several cheat days, I gained 2 pounds back this week. I went over by 300 cal today and am feeling pretty defeated. But tomorrow is a new day and I am gonna make this week count. We are on here, we are doing something about it and we are making healthy…

That is awesome! The other night my husband and I went out to get chinese food. I had a ton of calories to use and was STARVING! I told my husband that I didn't care if I went over on my calories, that I was going to eat all my food and not feel bad about it! Half way through my meal of egg roll, shrimp, ham fried rice,…

Our body types sound super similar! I got over my weight "bump" by liftinf light weighs (5-8 lbs) 3x's a week. Seriously.

I pretty much eat what I want, in moderation of course, and work out to make up for off days when I feel like 1200 calories isn't enough. What I can't justify eating because it is so full of calories and has no nutriet value is oreos! I miss oreos so much! Be fore MFP and 20 pounds ago, I would sit up late at night and eat…

As dumb as it may sound I thing my PMSing (sorry, TMI) Has ALOT to do with my food cravings! The week before I get my momthly, I can't seem to get enough to eat! I have been eating pretty clean, for the most part: steel cut oats with berries for breakfast, veggie burgers with veggies for lunch and snacks that are filling,…

It will be hard at first. It is AMAZING what the average american consumes daily with out knowing how many calories they are actually consuming! Your body might no like it at first and I think that the best way to start this out is to start SLOW. Maybe you go over your calories on some days, but at least you are keeping…
