You have done well....just continue and be patient. I am also post menapausal. The difference is that you need to do more weight resistance training than before and also increase your grams of protein to 100-115....but not by eating more red meat....drink a high protein shake.

I love Zaxby's buffalo fingers....but if I get them, I just order the plate of 5 with no sides and drink either water or diet soda. I also have them give me a packet of light ranch instead of the regular ranch that goes with it. It is ok to do the fast food now and then, just be smart when you do. Try to avoid the fries!!

I agree with the others....free weights are the better way to strength train. However, I do suggest machines for working out the legs (leg extensions, leg curls, and hip adduction and abduction machines).

I agree with you...hands down it is FISH for me too. However, I also absolutely cannot stand any sort of yogurt...not even if it has been sweetened with fruits. Ew.
