  • Hi everyone! This is a helpful thread. Age: A few days shy of 31 Height: 5'7 CW: 143-144 lbs (it's fluctuated a lot the past week) GW:136 I've been doing the PIIT28 program, though not by-the-book. Every week, I do four PIIT28 workouts and two Pure Barre classes. I also walk to and from work most days, which ends up being…
  • I'm just under 5'7" and my starting weight was 148 lbs. I ended up losing 11 lbs before my wedding (a little over a year ago). I slowly gained some of it back (my current weight fluxes between 142 and 143). I'd like to get down to 133 lbs or so. I pulled this image from a blog I keep, hence the weird formatting:
  • I'm 5'7" and started around 150 lbs (148 to be exact). I lost 11 lbs in two months. My current weight fluctuates between 137 and 139. It's probably on the higher end right now (I've indulged in too many of my favorite foods this week and need to get back on track). My UGW is 132, but I'll take any number just so long as my…
  • 2 - 3 cups mixed greens 5 medium strawberries sliced 1 oz goat cheese Sliced grilled chicken (probably about 3 oz total) Annie's Natural's Fat Free Mango dressing (only 20 calories per 2 TBSP!) I eat this salad at least three days a week for lunch. It's delicious, especially if you like goat cheese.
  • That's really impressive so far. Keep up the good work! :)
  • A giant plate of Pad See Ew with a side of fried spring rolls. Oh, and some coffee oreo ice cream for dessert :)
  • It's interesting to read everyone's responses. I feel like we're all kind of in the same general range. My original weight was 148. I'm 5'7". Current weight is somewhere around 137. Need to get an accurate read! I'd like to weigh 132 - 133 lbs. Honestly, though, I could care less what the scale says if I could lose another…
  • * Pumpkin protein muffins (recipe from this website: http://dashingdish.com/recipe/moist-pumpkin-protein-muffins/) - I eat at least one or two every day. Feels like I'm eating something more decadent :) * Salads made with mixed greens, goat cheese, sliced strawberries and some chicken - I haven't tired of this lunch food…
  • Hello :) My suggestion is to begin with snack foods first. It was easy for me to go through my cabinets and toss all of the processed stuff (chips, cookies, etc). Replace those things with simple foods like whole fruits, vegetables and plain nuts (i.e. raw almonds versus candied peanuts, etc). To save on your grocery bill,…
  • I lost just under 10 lbs in two months eating around 1200 calories a day. Since I only have about 15 lbs total to lose, those were pretty great results for me! Give it a shot and see how it works for you. I didn't consistently eat 1200 calories during those two months--at least twice a week I had a 1700-1800 calorie day,…
  • I often take leftover chicken from the night before. With some veggies and brown rice on the side, you have a filling lunch. Leftover veggie/chicken stir fry also makes for a great lunch. If you enjoy sandwiches, you can cut down on your carb intake by eating it open-faced. That's the only way I'll eat sandwiches anymore.
  • I'm 5'7 and looking to lose 10 - 15 lbs. Feel free to add! :)
  • A friend of mine takes spinning classes and typically burns between 700 - 800 calories per 60-minute class. I burn anywhere from 500 - 600 calories in my Turbo Kick classes (I wear a heart rate monitor). I definitely recommend taking an intense aerobics class!
  • I'm more careful with bread, specifically on sandwiches or burgers. I eat mine open-faced anymore. Yogurt is another one. I stick to Greek or Plain Non-Fat varieties. Love the flavored Yoplaits, but there's so much sugar. The banana discussion makes me laugh a little. I just ate two bananas yesterday. I'm a bit of a fiend…
  • These recipes with cocoa powder and peanut butter sound amazing. I'm going to have to give those a try. I generally just add all-natural applesauce and 1 tsp cinnamon to mine.
