The hell does this even mean? Plenty of people run on asphalt just fine. concrete is a bit rougher on the joints (I really feel it when it run on that), but some people even run on that. I prefer trails, but that's a preference.

yay?
-
Run more. You want to get faster? Run more.
-
You sure about the 'adult' part?
-
I'm still trying to figure out how lunges inhibit your arm movement the next day.

You are too old to be worrying about that nonsense. Grow the heck up, you're not in high school anymore. Next time they bring up your food choices, eye them up and down slowly, and go back t eating your food. They will get the hit. And if they don't, you need better 'friends'
-
No, you're not.

I wasn't even talking about the general population. I don't think you realize how much upper body strength is required for 50 pullups or core strength and endurance for 1000 situps. Those are not 'average' amounts for a fit person.
-
You have an unrealistic view of "average amount"

One of these things is not a big burn But yeah. Water retention.
-
Well, there's your problem. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing sort of thing. In fact, it's usually better somewhere in the middle.

He was trying to compliment you. You're reading too much into it, and you sound like you're fishing for compliments.

I've had arthritis since I was a teen. Start off with low-impact things. Walking. Swimming. Yoga is great for arthritis. These things will loosen you up and make you feel like you can do more. Getting more active has made great improvements in my arthritis management. For a lot of people (me included), arthritis stiffens…

First - Ask your doctor. I suspect that she will tell you to NOT actively try to lose weight, as you are already at a reasonable weight (or if you're tall, underweight). But there's nothing wrong with trying out some yoga or swimming, and swapping the junk food for more nutritious choices - I'd be surprised if any doctor…

I deal with anxiety on a daily basis. If something as optional as alcohol augmented that, I would sure a hell stop drinking it.
-
Lolno If there was a way to increase height, other than with shoes, at that age? Believe me, I would have found it.
-
Losing weight isn't about exercise. I lost my first 25 lbs without doing any at all. Then I was less fatigued and started walking. I added more as I was able to do more.

TL;DR. "Here's my tip for labour day- make it fecking miserable"
-
are you weighing your food on a digital scale? You're probably eating more than you think. I'm 5'2", older than you, and was able to lose while eating no less than 1450 calories, and more on days that I exercised.

not measure - weigh. I can carefully measure out 1 cup of rice too - and every time it will be more than I think it is. Weigh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpHykP6e_Uk

your body can't tell time.

I thought you wanted to work out 6 hours a day. What does your *kitten* boyfriend think of this "gym"
-
I guarantee that your metabolism isn't the issue
-
You could try seeing a doctor that doesn't hate his patients. That guy's so full of sh1t... Maybe he's the one who should be taking Ali
-
There are a lot of people who are busier than you, who still find time to workout. Try before work. Try after work. Try lunch time. Decide which is the least distasteful to you, and do that.
-
So, the truth is, she doesn't really know.
-
Lol You're not gaining on 1000 calories a day.
-
Just checking to see if the OP is still refusing to open her diary, or as how many calories she eats.

I don't think I'll ever be ready to run a marathon then. Because psychologically, I wouldn't be able to convince myself I can do 26 without ever having run even 20.
