I'm your height. My first goal was to shoot for 150 lbs. When I got there, I still had too high a body fat %, so I went down to 125. I would recommend something similar. Have a moderate target, and reassess when you get to that point.

Being fat made me look old. Losing weight took years off my looks.

Yes you can have deer steak. It's delicious.

Overpriviledged much? Pool etiquette is that you share lanes. Get over yourself.

I think you have unrealistic expectations. You can't change your bone structure. You do NOT have big hips, and you're still comparing yourself to very, VERY petite women. I think your family is right to be concerned that you have body image issues.

stop eating low-fat and non-fat foods, for one thing. Eat the whole egg instead of just the whites. Add some olive oil to your veggies. Eat real pasta instead of that Shirataki stuff.

Oh to be 21 again and so I could know everything.

Don't screw around with asthma. Do as your doctor says, try exercise that doesn't set it off, and work on losing the weight by tacking your calories. Once you lose weight, maybe your asthma won't be triggered as easily, since your lungs won't have to work so hard. My brother grew up with severe asthma, and my daughter has…

Is internet aggressiveness a symptom of PCOS? Asking for a friend.

Not really. I'm a petite old lady, and I would still lose weight eating significantly more than you do. People are commenting because you're losing rapidly enough that they are concerned, but are scared to say it. I lost slowly, and I still had a few people asking me if I'd lost on purpose or if I was ill. When you lose a…

Funny thing, that.

You are overreacting to his comments. You were expecting to be attacked and you read his comments with that context. Coming from outside the conversation, his comments seem pretty level.

Add bran buds to other foods. Carry a water bottle around with you. Might sound simplistic, but that solved both issues for me

Many people also think that vaccines cause autism, but that doesn't make it true.

Lol, no. That's called life.

some are so low calorie, you'd pretty much have to drink them for it to matter. but for high calorie condiments (ex mayo, ketchup, salad dressing, etc), you'd be foolish not to log them.

I know, why even bother

Black coffee, and lots of it.

trail running keeps me off anxiety meds, and is the only thing I've found that keeps the panic attacks at bay.

that's a load of upselling BS if it's the right shoe for you, you don't need to buy an additional insole

I ate at maintenance for the two weeks surrounding the holidays, and ate whatever -and as much - as I wanted on Christmas day. It was fine. Don't over think it.

When I didn't have a daylight option, I still went out after dark for walks and runs. I just made sure I was wearing reflective clothing so cars could see me. I know it's not ideal, but it can be done.
-
that's a misconception. If you run - you are a runner.

Why? I'm a woman. You're daft if you think every woman deals with this. These are on the far end of the range of symptoms, and I would advise anyone dealing with it to see their obgyn. The only time I ever had to put up with that is when I was on BC. My body just did not tolerate the extra hormones.
-
I have plenty of clue. It's not normal. Not every woman deals with this. If it's that bad, really, you should see a doctor and have your hormones checked, because it sounds like th symptoms of someone who's BC pills are the wrong type.

Pushing through without adequate training is one thing. Pushing through with a back injury is something else entirely. Only a complete idiot would attempt the race under these conditions.
