I have been maintaining for a few months. Yay! Free free to add me. I am a mom of 2

Nope. If I plan on eating something that isn't the greatest, I workout. I never had a super low calorie goal so there haven't been a lot of days that I couldn't fit something in. Everything in moderation for me.

I ran my first in Oct of this year and my 2nd just last weekend. I would start now, just add in cross-training like weights in. If you find your motivation slacking, change things up if you have time. I would also recommend having your longest run atleast 12 miles if you want to finish strong. On my first, I did 10 a few…

WoW! You look amazing! I started P90x yesterday. I did plyo today.... Ouch! I have finished Insanity, ran 2 half marathons since Feb and am hoping to change things up with P90x for the winter months and get muscles. Thank you for the inspiration :flowerforyou:

You look amazing! Congrats!

YES! Try it for a month and you will not regret it. I am 5'3 and 130. I eat around 2000 a day and some weeks I lose.
-
How about eggs? Maybe half egg white and yoke, if you don't like plain egg white. Lean meats. chicken, fish?
-
HOLY CRAP! You guys look awesome! I love your story! I am starting P90x today. I have lost 30 lbs and not really looking to lose any weight. I want muscles! Thanks for the motivation!
-
I have lost 30 since Feb. It took about 2 months for the last 5 lbs. I wasn't in a hurry though since I was happy where I was at 25 lbs lost and just wanted to try for 5 lbs more.

You look amazing!!!! I completely agree, the scale is an evil torture device!!!

I am starting p90x :)

@tappae... Holy crap! And I am worried about 3 miles and it being too much. I remember a few kids in races with me and some have beat me but I am talking 5k not a half or whole. I have my opinion on the article, I think that is a bit much.
-
Thanks! I could try the C25K app. There is a 10 and under age group so she isn't too young for the race. It is through Xmas lights, so it is a very family friendly race with lots of jogging strollers.

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself! You have lost a lot of weight already. And from your profile, I think u look great :) We r our worst critics, I still hate pictures of me and I am at my thinnest in a long time. My husband says I Usually look horrible in pictures... It's true! I usually have my mouth open, blink or have a…

You look great! Congrats! 20 lbs is nothing to blink at, you should be very proud!

I am right there with ya. I did the NIH frame size and I am a large frame which is odd to me because I am 5'3 and don't think I am large in any aspect. I am 130 now and getting told I am too skinny. When I was heavier, a lot of my weight was in my belly and boobs, now that those are gone... I am getting told I am too…

I don't think you are eating enough on your exercise days. Your BMR is around 1800, try to net around that. Other advice. Add more protein and clean the food up (aka no eating out!). Alcohol will do it as well, if u want to lose, really want it, then drink less. Also remember that if u haven't worked out for a while, you…

What r your stats? Weight height?
-
Yep, I think Jillian suggests adding cardio like walking.
-
You look awesome! Congrats!

Plan meals ahead. And plan them to your goal calories, if it's an exercise day, then plan that as well. I find that when I plan my day out ahead then I stick to it or if I want to change things up then I stick to similar calories.

Great story! You should be very proud of yourself.. Please ignore the jerk above! I will never forget my first 5k. I crossed the line and asked if that was the right time cuz there was no way I was that fast. I caught the running bug officially that day. I have run about 7 or 8 more and beat my time every race, I ran my…
