Awesome story and journey! Thank you for your service btw. I did Insanity 2 years ago now, I did exactly what you did, started insanity and MFP at the same time. Since then, I lost 25 (almost 30 but I gained 5 back) and kept it off. I ran my first full marathon in Nov. Even though, I am a runner at heart, I still press…

I have been on maintenance for 2 years now. 25 lbs ago, I was a 34c but now a 32a. They were saggy afterwards and yes it was depressing then I discovered push-ups and they perked up. They are still small though and it makes me uncomfortable. Just my personal opinion. Before I had kids, I wanted bigger boobs, I am the same…

Hey chickie! Like everyone said, layer up! I bought a good pair of running pants and I wear under armour under the pants if it's really cold. I have gloves, hat and a neck thingy (the real word is escaping me..long day at work). With the layers, the cold doesn't bother me after the first mile at all. I actually prefer it…

I am a runner at heart but I did P90x last winter. I love it. I still pop in a DVD every now and then. What I did after was I made up my own lil routines from the workout sheets. I just went will what I wanted to do. Over this spring/summer/ fall, that's what I did. I did my cardio while marathon training and did weights 1…

Incredible! Here I am hoping for a sub 4- hr full and he ran it twice as fast! I think that's the awesome part of running though! There is always someone that is faster or can run further than you... Always new goals to make :drinker:

Congrats! Love the look of exhaustion...you know why? The best things happen when you test your limits! You rock!

BMI and TDEE are 2 completely different things. TDEE is the amount of calories you burn in a day, BMI is simply a measurement of weight/ height. There are a lot of variables that will increase/ decrease your TDEE such as muscle and activity level but I doubt ethicality has anything to do with it. As for you calorie level,…

Wow! You look great! Ignore the scale and what people say! I got the same thing and I only lost 30 lbs, everyone saying I was getting too skinny. It was annoying. It's really up to you in the end. I would say at 6'3 that seems 210 like a good weight because of your size. If in the pictures you think you look great then…

2 words push-ups! I never had big boob (36C) at my heaviest, they were the first to go. I really don't mind the size they are now, 32B. I was a bit bummed at first but I swear push-ups perked those babies right back up. I am 35 yrs old, have 2 kids (didn't breast feed and I admit didn't have a ton to sag) but push-ups were…

It's pretty normal as a beginner. My fav calve stretch is to stand on the steps (holding onto the railing) with my toes and go up/down... Hope I explained to right. Also make sure to take rest days. G2 is a good alternative to the sugars in Gatorade. Good luck!

You look awesome!!!!

Pretty much these! But I don't run without a shirt cuz I am a trail running chick and don't want attention! So let's say its awesome when on of my family/friends/coworkers tell me I look awesome! Oh and one more... When ppl ask how many miles I ran, I love saying things like "18 miles Saturday but only 3 on Sunday"". They…

NET 1400 -1500. I am 5'3, work an office job ( eat back every single exercise calorie). 1400 is above my BMR. If i go less, weight loss stales and i get cranky. Depending on how much I want to cut and where I am currently in a running plan 1400-1500 works. Right now I am maintaining since I Am full marathon training so my…

I am 5'3 and had similar weight when I did insanity. Back then, I netted 1300-1400 calories. I don't think your eating enough. Per my HRM, I burned over 400 calories on the max workouts. If you are similar, that would mean you are netting 1100 Or less. Up your calories by 100, see it that works. Also watch sodium, make…

I prefer to run in the mornings but I can only manage my long Saturday runs at that time. I have gut issues and evening runs are not fun but I have to do it once or twice a week.

You look amazing! 50 lbs! You should be very proud! Enjoy the concert!

Did you get fitted for running shoes prior to starting? Your at the point where I had feet/leg issues when I started. Shoes r sooo important. Also maybe slow down pace/ check running form. Have you thought of a jogging stroller? Mine loved it at that age!

Half... Try for the full next year after more running as a base. I am training for my first full in Nov. I have done 4 halfs, 6 before the full. I ran a long run of 18 miles last weekend. The time and ramping is so much different for a full. I love the half, it's fun to train for, the full is soooo time consuming! All I do…
