What I enjoy about this site it that it makes it easy to know if you are eating well or not. As long as your food selections are made up of the nutritional allowances in your daily food log you know if you are getting enough of the right food! Make sense?

I can understand your difficulty with the medications!! As well as well meaning family. If there is one thing I have learned in my 30 years of dieting it's that lossing weight is the easy part. Keeping it off is another thing entirely! I'm here for you if you need me. Add me as a friend if you like!

Do you know where I can find out how many calories MFP says my body uses a day? To help me with the math. I also think (hope) you meant that I would need a deficit of 1000 calories/day to lose 2 lbs a week right?
