Did my 5k race this morning. My time was 38:46, which is a 12:28 min mile pace. So excited about that, not quite the 38 mins I was hoping for, but I made it under 39!

I'm in for the full 1200! I have a 5K on Saturday so that should help, but I need to get off my bum on the weekend and get moving!

Gender: Female • Age: 28 • Starting weight: 215 • Current weight: 198.8 • Goal weight: ~155 • What are your reasons for wanting to lose/gain weight? (Please state which) I want to lose weight because I want to be healthy and be able to do fun things. I always said I would lose weight when my doctor told me to. I recently…

I only got to 1100 this weekend - so close, yet still so far!! But this does help me stay motivated on the weekends when normally I just want to sleep!

Congratulations!! I have a 5K coming up next week and I hope to be able to run the whole thing, but I'm hoping for a 38-40 min time. Your story gives me hope I will make it!!

I have just about a week to go before my 5K. Last night on the treadmill I did a 40:05 5K, my goal is 38 minutes, so I have to step it up if I'm going to make it. I have improved from my 42 min 5K I did a few weeks ago. Good luck to those who have a run coming up!!

Thank you for taking over! Can't believe I'm still in it.

I got to 1168 this weekend! 804 on Saturday 364 on Sunday 1500 is going to be rough for me, but I'm up for the challenge.

I'm in a similar situation, work 8-5 then have class from 7-10 two nights a week. My school has a gym on campus and I will fit in a 30 min workout between work and class (and a quick shower). And I have found that by working out more I am no longer falling asleep in class. Up until recently I wanted to do nothing on the…

Great job on the list! This is fun, but a little scary - I don't want to fall below the red line!

I did a full 5K "run" yesterday. Took 41 mintues. Now that I can go the distance, time to work on my speed.
-
Yesterday I got back on the treadmill! Was able to "run" 25 mins, walked 5 mins, average speed 4.5 mph (I run really slow), made it 2.27 miles. But I was excited that I could still go for so long without stopping. When I run on the treadmill, I put it at a 1.5 incline. I still have about a month to my 5K and I'm sure I…

I scramble the eggs and put the peppers in to cook with the eggs. I'm thinking of throwing some broccoli in there tomorrow and seeing what that does, but I love broccoli.

I never used to eat breakfast, so I've been forcing myself to eat it since I got serious about losing weight. The other day I made a most delicious breakfast: Italian Herb Pocket thin (pita kind of thing) 1 egg 1 sweet pepper 2 teaspoons salsa along with my coffee/tea with milk 225 calories It might be my new favorite…

I got in about 770 this weekend. Although I did heavy cleaning and cooking on Sunday, I don't count those as extra calories burned because I would have done that anyway. I bured an extra 770. That seems to be about my average on the weekends.

That is a cute idea - but I live less than 6 miles from Disneyland - so I guess I would have to go to Orlando. Sometimes at work we do a virtual walk from the southern most campus (I work for a university) to the northern most campus. When we hit landmarks (one of the 23 campuses) we would get a little history of the…

I did not do as well as I had hoped, but I was able to get some exercise in: Sat - 0 was in the car for 6 hours! Sun - approximatley 750 So I got just over half way through the goal! But it's better than nothing.
-
Alright! Let's do this! I really need a kick in the pants! I have started to fall back into old habits and maybe this will snap me out of it!! 1200 calories!!

1/1 - 215 1/29 - 206.2 2/5 - 205.2 2/12 - 204.2 2/19 - 204.8 (+0.6) Since Jan 1 - down 10.2 I'm not surprised that I went up this week. I've been slacking on the exercise and I've been eating terribly. Hopefully I've learned and can get back on it.

I got running again today. 40 mins 2.83 miles. I hope to be able to do 3.1 miles in 40 mins by the end of February, then I have a month to build up some speed before my 5K in April. Glad I met my goal for the week!!
-
Got in another day! Week 4, day 2. Might need new shoes, I had a bit of pain in my shins while running today.

1/1 - 215 1/29 - 206.2 2/5 - 205.2 2/12 - 204.2 --- I've just barely been making the pound goal, but I am glad to be down almost 11 pounds in 6 weeks  Since 1/1 - 10.8 lbs
