Not sure if I will get a chance to post tomorrow, so I will post what I have as of today. If I add more, I will try to post by tomorrow. Friday - 558 calories (did it with a friend via skype) Saturday - 275 Sunday - 755 (had to really push myself to get 1000 for the weekend) Monday - 232 = 1820 as of Monday night

I made it!! Today I did week 4 day 1. I am technically only on week 3, but decided (thanks to encouragement) to bump it up a week and see if I can handle it - turns out, I could!! My goal is to get two more days of running in: Wednesday and Thursday

I recently found a new routine that keeps things interesting and that I have been doing regularly. It uses a deck of cards and each suit is a different exercise. For example, we have hearts work on the butt/legs, diamonds are to get our heart rate up, like jumping jacks or mountain climbers, clubs will work the arms and…

I'm not doing so well with my training. I've mostly been walking my dog, and he doesn't like to run, he wants to sniff trees. But I am determined to get to the gym at least three times this week to complete week 3. Thanks for this thread, because its giving me the motivation to keep going. And even if I have a bad week, I…

My 5k is April 6. I've done a lot of "runs" including a half marathon and mini triathlon (5k run, 12 mile bike, 800 meter swim). But I've never actually run a 5k, I'm more of a fast walker. My goal is to be able to run the 5k in April. I'm also planning a funny marathon in October. So I'm sure seeing everyone's good work…

I think this is the first weekend I've been able to get the 1000 calorie burn. Saturday - 275 Sunday - 755 Total - 1030!! Which included: 190 squats 95 sit ups 95 oblique crunches
-
Didn't do anything on Thursday, but was able to make it up last night with 558 calories burned!
-
I'll do it too - I've been slacking on my exercise the last week or so.

I was able to squeeze in 30 minutes today. I think technically I'm on week 2 day 3. So .... slow and steady.

Weight: 206.2 Nutritional Goal: 1430/day Fitness Goal: 980 Challenge: School just started up again, so my challenge this week is learning to balance it all and being sure to include exercising in that balance.

This week has not been good, so it is good to take a step back and regroup. What I need to focus on this month is time management. School started back up this week, so two days a week I leave my house at 7:20 AM and don't get home until around 10:20 PM. Those days it's hard to stay on track with calories. Also, I have to…

I like it!! See what we can do in 6 weeks.

Good job everyone!! I totally missed the mark this weekend - probably only burned about 500  But I will try again!

I have a 5K on April 6th! I went for a 2 mile walk/run today. It wasn't an official C25K training, but I did alternate walking and running (as much as my puppy would allow). School started today, which means I get to work at 8 and get home from school at 10 pm, twice a week. The next 16 weeks are going to be rough.

My cousin turns 30 tomorrow so...... I think I really need this challenge. Vacation house, cookie cake, homemade pizza, and lots of alcohol. Its going to be. Rough week, but I'm determined to make my pound this week. Let's do it everyone!!!
-
Way to go everyone! Week 2 day 2 yesterday - added and extra 10 minutes because of extra stress at work. It felt good to run it out rather than eat it like I normally would. 40 minutes Alternated running 2 mins, walking 2 minutes
-
This is going to make me get on the bike. I can rack up the miles on a bike, but I don't like it. I guess I'll be doing the morning spin class before work on Monday and Tuesday . I like this challenge!!
-
It took me a while, but I did week 2, day 1 tonight. 30 mins Just over 2 miles It feels good to get running again after being sick last week.
-
I do the same as deja_blu. My trick is to not bring it in the house. Cheeze-its are a big thing for me, but I will eat a box a week, so if I'm REALLY craving them, I will get them here at work, the little snack size they sell at the store here. I will also try to substitute, if I'm craving a burger, I'll get a turkey…

My sister has been great help with this so far, but doesn't go to my gym. I work full time and go to school part time and getting to the gym…

1/1 - 215 1/8 - 212 1/15 - 208.8 1/22 - 208.4 Loss for the week: 0.4 Loss for the year: 6.6 hmmmm... not too happy about it, but I was out 4 days with a really bad cold (and I tend to eat A LOT when I am sick). Going to restart my running today, so I am hopeful for next week. I am also going to Exile Island!!

I think it's amazing that a group of almost 400 people can come together and encourage each other in this goal. Even for those who do not post or are not very active, I'm sure just coming here to see the posts helps keep them on track. This is a great group and I hope we can keep it up throughout the year!!
-
I did day 3 on Monday but then got really sick and haven't been able to pick it up again since then. I hope to be able to start again soon, I think this cold is finally starting to go away.
-
SW: 215 Jan-8: 212 Jan-15: 208.8 Down 3.2 for the week (had to check a few times to be sure) Down for the year: 6.2

Alright - no lauging, but I have a lot of Weird Al and Peter, Paul and Mary. I wouldn't say it's good running music, but it take my mind off the fact that I am running. I also like to run to The Fenians, they really get me pumped - high energy.
-
I did day two last night, because I was supposed to have plans today, but they fell through this morning Day 2 time - 30 mins distance - 2.10 miles calories ~ 300
-
I was able to accomplish this. I've been averaging 300-500 calories burned by exercise, but today I nearly doubled that with just over 1,000. I went a little crazy, and I'm sure I'm going to feel it tomorrow, but I hit up a happy hour on Wednesday after work and wanted to burn that off.
