Sodium is my biggest issue as well. At home not as big as when on the road calling on customers. I measure everything, doing that is the reason I am losing weight. I never really realized how much I was eating. I do wing it on the coffee creamer in the morning though - livin' on the edge!

I played soccer in high school ran 4:58 miles and all that, but never would have made a marathon even then. Frankly, looks like a typical media stunt. Running to the point where you need medical attention makes as much sense as not eating to lose weight to the point you are taken to a hospital.

I love this sight because I can eat anything I want. We can all enjoy Girl scout cookies, not eat the whole box in one sitting (guilty in high school, but I could get away with it then). Absolutely YES! Not having one is most of the reason I'm on this site losing weight. I both measure and weigh everything as I am not always accurate with my "guestimates". I love to cook so I'm used to measuring ingredients accurately and even though I cook regularly I still measure to insure consistent quality in my menu…

Kids can be brutally honest can't they? I have the same trouble with exercising, something always seems to come up. The only way I can workout is first thing in the morning. I need to get it done and out of the way or else I usually can successfully procrastinate about it and put it off because of "other important things".

Try Baking with a little olive oil, with crushed pecans and dried cranberry. You should be able to google it. I found it inline and modified to make it healthy, but it's a really nice combination.

Feel free to add me if you'd like. I am a few years older but same thing happened to me. Every few years need to get new pants, than had to do XL shirts, then suddenly realized I am 40 to 50 pounds overweight and borderline obese. I is certainly harder to lose the weight then it was when I was younger.
