I kinda of eat low carb. We do all whole wheat items. I try to eat a well balanced diet. 2 cups of fruit a day, 3-4 cups of vegetables and 5 oz of protein a day etc. I think not eating as much processed foods (sodium) has been the best for me. Also no Mt Dew in 19 weeks.

I was not much on exercising before. I started out swimming, and it really helped me to build up for the gym. I still swim about twice a week. It is so relaxing. And you get a good workout.

I also just started worrying about sodium and potassium. I don't eat a lot of processed food and I think that helps a lot. I need to work on my potassium though. I don't like bananas at all. I am glad you posted this about sodium. Glad I am not the only one.
