I just finished week six of thirteen of Power 90. Give the yoga a chance, it will get easier and it is a good core exercise and improves flexibility. Keep your weight loss goals realistic, you will only get out of it what yu put into it. That is, if you do the modified versions of every exercise and use light weights…

Don't discount the idea that maybe this person places a high value on fitness and health. When you were fat, maybe you didn't come across as a person who shared the same values. Physical appearance is more that just sexual attraction. How we look, dress, and groom ourselves says a lot about who we are.

I understand the air conditioned exercise thing. Here in Tucson, AZ it is hard to get cardio during the summer months so I started doing Power 90. It alternates strength training and cardio every other day. I've been doing it 30 days now and I am pleased with my results. I'm trying to decide if I should do P90X when I…

I just hit day 30 of 'Power 90', a 90 day conditioning program. I agree with you, having a structured plan and logging results is the best way to achive our goals. It doesn't matter if it's a self designed plan like yours or store bought like mine. What's important is to moniitor and adjust if we aren't on track. Good luck…

If you want to track normal daily activity like walking or climbing flights of stairs, fitbit is great. It also does an excelent job of tracking steps and calories for walking or running. It's shortcoming is that it is not a heart rate monitor so it doesn't accurately track other exercise. For example an hour cardio…

My wife and I got fitbits about two months ago. I don't think we even looked at the manual, we just followed the instructions on fitbit.com and mfp.com. I hope you can resolve your issues. fitbit is an excelent tool and a critical part of our fitness plan. We are addicted now, we can't imagine trying to lose weight without…

I wasn't here last year to congratulate you but that's ok because keeping the weight off is a greater accomplishment. I can tell you from my own experience, I've lost 50 or more pounds at least five times in my adult life. I think this time it is finally getting through to me so this will be the last time. Congratulations!…

Ten year olds are honest, that means you've done well.

My wife and I started using fitbit two months ago. We love having the feedback. If we ever lost or broke them, we'd order a new one the same day.

Great job!

If you want to know how motivating your post is, you're my age and within 5 lbs of my starting weight and goal weight. Great job and thanks for sharing.

I hate mayonnaise. I so totally discount mayo that I forget everybody doesn't feel the same way.

I keep an open mind about God but all of God's self appointed spokesmen are full of beans.

My wife and started using fitbit two weeks ago and like it very much. It tracks steps, flights of stairs, activity level, and calories. Once fitbit and MFP are linked the calories for exercise or extra activity above normal burn are credited to MFP as exercise calories. Likewise, data from MFP is transfered to fitbit's web…
