What a wonderful way to explain eating better, portion control, and (even if only temporary) cutting out binge foods! Great post!

Started at 302. Couch to 5k is the way to go! It teaches you how to run and when to push yourself. I'm running 10k's now and running 3 times a week. Just do it!

A good pair of running shoes. I've lost 58 pounds so far only spending $12 on a arm band for my iPhone and just recently (last week) bought a nice pair of running shoes. I run 10-15 miles a week

We use Arbonne shakes. Vegan and really good. I was super skeptical at first, but I really enjoy them. I can easily go 4 hours afterwards without feeling hungry. Plus they are cheaper (almost half) as Beachbody or some of the other big names out there. http://www.arbonne.com/HealthAndWellness/ArbonneEssentials/Fit/index.asp

Your lack of planning doesn't constitute an emergency on my part.

I began exercising at 302. I started running around 280 and completed my first 5k at 260. You can do it

Couch to 5k. I was the exact same way. I still don't like running, but it's free and I'm getting results!

I'm 30 years old, 6'5 and started at 302 pounds. I've got myself down to the mid 250's currently by tracking what I eat (1500-1800 calories a day) and started being more active. We cancelled the cable (one of the best decisions we've ever made!), I started running (which I'm not a big fan of, but it's a free workout) and…

Eat it! Don't waste all your progress because you don't think you can treat yourself. Do not binge, but enjoy what you want! Think about what you are craving, come up with an acceptable/suitable amount of calories to use and JUST DO IT! So what if you have to walk an extra mile or two tonight or tomorrow. It will be worth…

I started at 302 running. I'm currently at 258 and just completed my first 5k in 32 minutes. I have knee issues, but I just played around with when I ran and how much of a break I took in between runs to help. You can do it

Lookup the Couch 2 5k program. I download an app on my phone and it's great. It's an 8 week course designed for first time runners to run a 5k I'm doing my first 5k Monday. I've never been a runner before and I'm currently running 1.5 miles at a time. BTW I'm at 258 pounds currently. Good Luck!

I started 72 days ago at 302. I've already dropped 32 pounds by exercising some and eating better (I'm not great at either of those btw!). The key is just to keep at it and keep trying. Good Luck!
