My husband has been to every one of my races. He's typically the one who encourages me the most to register for them. He LOVES chasing me around the course in his truck trying to get the best pictures. but he is definitely the quieter one at the finish line. every now and then he will yell for me to run faster the closer I…

Good for you for losing the weght! I just agree with everyone before me that has replied. People just don't realize the hard work behind it or they are struggling themselves. There's many reasons. But like I said, Good for you for losing 66 pounds! That's an awesome thing to do! Keep going to remember you're not losing it…

Weight lifting has done so much for my body! I used to be a cardio junky but I'm hooked to lifting. My sister in law has also stopped eating unhealthy sugars and that has done wonders for her.

I've been a runner for almost a year and so I'm still learning too. But I have gotten a lot of advice that your body needs the rest and sometimes running two days in a row isn't the best. But listen to your body. Start with adding more days and run every other day, and if you feel good about it then try running two days in…

I don't have kids so I won't be able to help you much with the rules. but be very careful with what you tell your children. about 50% of 12 year old girls have an eating disorder because of the way their mothers portray an obsession with staying thin. Even though you want the best for your kids, be careful how you let them…

After I got married I knew I had gained weight, but I just didn't realized how much. My husband and I were struggling financially but I despereately needed new pants. So I saved up for $40 jeans. They were the only ones I had and it was winter time so I wore them everyday. Naturally they would get worn quickly but a week…

Zumba is a blast! Running is also a hobby of mine. Just get out there and get active girl!

One thing you could do is not buy the unhealthy foods at all that you may be binging on. It's defnitely easier said than done. Also, Tell a significant other to get after when you start going for those awful foods. When I first started, I had a hard time not eating stuff that I used too. One day I told my husband to get…

I've had several people tell me I didnt need to lose weight in the first place. I absolutely hate hearing that. If I didn't need to lose it in the first place I wouldn't have been able to drop almost 17 pounds and still be losing. People almost get offended that I would even think about having a goal weight of 145 and be…

bump. That amazing!! Congratulations! You look awesome!

I am 5'9 and I have a medium sized frame. I am currently at 157 right now and my goal weight is 145-150. If you want your goal weight to be 150 then go for it! When you get to 160 and you love the way you look, than that would be the place to stop. My in-laws always tell me that 145 would be too skinny but I am not…

Sleeping, painkillers, and laying on a hotpad immediately become top on my priority list. I will allow my body to rest and take it easy for the first day.

I just finished my first year of college as well. It was defnitely hard and I gained about twenty five pounds. I live off campus and I can't afford a gym membership so I'm trying to push myself to do at home work outs. We can defnitely help each other!!
