I've lost 7lbs in about 30 days, eating 1800+ calories a day and working out 4-5 times a week. Why would you want to starve yourself for the same results :S best of luck to you though...

I focus on everything but sugar, because the goals are ridiculously low if you plan on eating fruit throughout the day :) If you try and get a bit of each (carbs, protein, fat) into almost every meal and snack it's much easier to reach your goal rather than getting to the end of the day and thinking oh **** where can I get…

They just don't taste good in the UK :( we really only have strawberry and chocolate ones, and they're very dry/ not moist like American ones! When I go on holiday to the US I must eat my own weight in pop tarts... hot fudge sundae flavour nommmmm. :)

I used to run at 1-2am in my first year of uni (life of a student haha) and I always carried a rape alarm with me; I assume the horrific noise would work equally well to scare animals away! :)

exactly what I reserve my middle finger for... ;) but in all seriousness I just find it funny that they're whistling etc when I'm hot and sweaty and completely NOT attractive :P

Eggs contain HDL cholesterol, which you need; in fact you'd die without it. Why not stick with eggs and cut out saturated fat instead?

The mind boggles. Why would anyone CHOOSE to eat 1200 or less, when you can eat almost twice that and have better results (less saggy skin, not being skinny-fat at the finish line etc). Surely 'more food' sounds good to anyone?!?!

I find that if I take water with me, I'm more likely to need the toilet :blushing: so I don't drink whilst I'm out, or even 2-3 hours before I go for a run. Alternatively you could always get something like this for running with:…

I agree! For the difference in calories, butter tastes way better and isn't so bad for you... I once heard that you know how bad Margerine is because if you left a tub open outside no animal would touch it :laugh:

It wouldn't do you great harm to not log your veggies, but fruits DEFINITELY. A lot of calories if you're not careful. Too much of anything is a bad thing! :smile:
