  • Have you had a body composition done. Even if not making much shift on the scales the changes can be seen in measurements taken at regular intervals, including body fat. What you're eating and when can make a big difference as well. Does your gym have a nutritionist on board that you could work with?
  • Hi, thanks all for your thoughts. True, cramernh. Crazy to just line someone's pockets when really getting to the bottom of the issue would be a better investment. Would help sort out other areas of life too. I will look further into the behavioural / cognitive therapy. All power to you in your personal journeys.
  • One of my problem areas and no there isn't any way to spot reduce. I have found eating really clean, i.e. cutting out alcohol (sugars) or limiting to a treat and eating little or no processed foods has made a difference.
