^^This. Walking is my "Go to" exercise.

Real and as the poster mentioned above...cook the eggs in the grease!
-
Chobani plain non fat yogurt with fresh sliced strawberries, Kashi Go Lean cereal and flax seed. All mixed up....yummy and filling.

Cold turkey is what worked for me. Anything else seemed like you were just prolonging the agony and slowly keeping the addiction going. I loved smoking as well, I still miss it and I still wish I could have just one puff - but JUST one puff won't work for me and I think I will enjoy the healthy years I added to my life…

I don't really like my water, but I drink room temperature carbonated water.

18 lbs since February is fantastic loss for 5 feet! I'm 5'1" started about the same weight and have lost 7 lbs (about 1/2 lb a week). Maybe you need to change it up a bit, possibly eat more calories, change your exercise routine, change your diet to add more protein as suggested above.

I mix it up between walking, 30 Day Shred, Zumba, Just Dance and exercise DVDs on Netflix. For me (a cream puff too), there's plenty of variety between all that, basic calisthenics and other workouts I find on the Web.

^^This....but I'll give myself 10oz of wine (sometimes more).

I'm 5' 0.5". I'm shooting for around 107 but plan to re-evaluate this decision at 115 and then 110 if I opt to go below 115. I'm currently eating about 1350.

You should have no problem getting to 130 at 5'1"...or even below that. That is not a very nice trainer.

unsweetened chocolate with honey or 90-95% cocoa works for me.

I have not read the books but the dreaded "vanilla" life scares me enough not to read them.

^^This I have anywhere from 8-12oz of white wine a night (about 2 glasses). My first glass is usually all wine and then I start mixing the second glass with club soda. I try and make room for my wine calories in my daily allotment.

Sure, why not. I would like to be compensated.

Yum! Boston Beer! My favorite is Andrew's Porter. He's a local brewer right around the corner from where I live in Maine.

Chobani plain with fresh strawberries and flax seed Fage is also yummy

Club soda worked for me.....but I realized I was addicted to the fizzies and not the sugar/taste of the soda. I still crave a ginger ale now and again.

I quit cold turkey 3 months ago....because I was ready. So your Mom and Aunt have to be ready and really want to do it. I drank lots of water and cranberry juice for the first 3 days to help flush the chemicals out of my body. I think what really helped me was that I wanted to feel better, look better and get healthy. I…

I do log cleaning, shoveling and yard work as part of daily activities. Simply because these are things I don't do everyday. For example, this weekend I moved brush around for burning for about 2 hours. This was labor intensive, got my heart rate up and got me sweating. I used this as my exercise. My rule of thumb is to…

Bananas are loaded with sugar and high in calories, I think it should be a tangerine or grapefruit.

Sounds like you have a good weight loss underway. You've lost a little over 20 lbs since November. That's almost 1lb per week. I wish I could manage that consistently.
-
I'm going on my 8th week and I've lost 5 lbs.

I totally agree with what you are saying. Many times when I am reading topic posts, I think in the back of mind how brave that person is because of the comments they have gotten or will get. I also agree that people need to be more patient with posts they've seen a thousand times already as the search function really isn't…

I fry egg whites inside a pepper ring.

I made it to level 2 in 13 days. I did 9 days at level 1 and then moved up. Once I started level 2 my ankles started hurting from the jumping in the cardio portion. So I haven't done it for about a week now. I'm thinking about starting it back up but replacing any jumping exercises with something else. I didn't notice a…
