Today was my 5K during my lunch hour today! 32 minutes is all it took for an awesome workout! Hope your day goes great!

Right now I'm at 228 lbs, so I'll be looking for a decent picture to update this before and after. I eat, just a lot more sensibly than I used to! Around 1,900 calories... And I took up running! 5K's, 10K's and soon a 1/2 marathon on May 6th! I run between 50-60 miles per month.

Hello runners! I started dabbling in running April 2011 and since then I've become ADDICTED! I did 10 5K's last summer, a 10K and am now 7 weeks from my first 1/2 marathon! I've been averaging around 55 miles per month. The great part, is because of running and a better diet, I've shed 53 pounds! Good times, right? Always…

I rest on Monday, Friday and do light cross training on Sunday's... It's the Hal Higdon approach and it's working for me in my 1/2 marathon training!
