Oregon: Babies may not be carried on the running boards of a car. A door on a car may not be left open longer than is necessary. (Who decides?) Dishes must drip dry. (Really....oops) It is illegal to whisper “dirty” things in your lover’s ear during sex. Ice cream may not be eaten on Sundays. In Myrtle Creek - One may not…

That does help. Thanks. I was doing the same thing with Smooth Move Tea once every 3 days but I had a few people tell me that if I kept it up I would eventually have to take it every day for the rest of my life. Not fun sounding. But you are right surgery sounds worse. I think I will try drinking 1/2 a cup every other day…

Thanks again everyone! I am taking a ton of vitamins for the shingles. B complex, B 12, fish oil, Vitamin A and this stuff called ViraStop. It seems to be working. I originally had my calories set to 2 pounds but that was hard to keep with so I went to 1.5 and did great for about a month or so...then nothing. I have gone…

Thanks guys. I have lost size but no pounds. My exercise is usually walking or running but I get so bored that I sometimes hula hoop or do a workout video instead, so that changes a lot. I have been fighting shingles again because I had a bad allergic reation combined with taking a gash out of my finger then getting the…

I think the challenge is making more more aware. I don't really have a problem with the taste of water or anything but if I want to get it all in I can't wait till 2 in the afternoon to start drinking so I have started earlier. I do better with water in a bottle because I can tote it around with me all day and I just keep…

Awesome. Thank you so much everyone.

Goodness...I think I will take this as a resounding no. :/

Popchips, air popcorn, greek yogurt (I like chobani pineapple), frozen berries, tuna packs for a fast lunch (you can make a salad or a sandwich.)

I think there are other ways to deal with it. I agree with the other post, it is like you are punishing people for being a sucess. In Oregon if you are going 20 miles over the speed limit (our highway spees is only 55) it is a $450 dollar ticket and you get your license suspended for a month I think. If it is less than…

Coconut water is AWESOME for smoothies with out the sugar and fat and it is low cal. I make blueberry and spinich, or whatever fruit you want and some low sugar protein powder. Some days I just have a fruit smoothie and a hard boil egg. Crustless quiche Avacado, egg and bacon (like egg salad but use the avacado like mayo)…

I just get annoyed that it will take me that long to get there. LOL

People are pretty self involved most of the time. Don't let it get to you (if possible). When someone judges you it does not define who you are, it defines who they are.

@quixoteQ, LOL. You gain calories by riding it I am sure. :)

@Slimmasaurus that is a good point. I like that idea. I actually decided to do this for 8 hours INSTEAD of going to the gym for 1 because it keeps it interesting. It is a little disheartening to hear that it won't count as exercise. But I think it makes sense to look at it as an activity.

I am the same way. I really have a hard time with sugar, chocolate especially. I started Paleo / Primal and the cravings have gone down a TON. I was brought up to have dessert after dinner every night. I started needing it after every meal. Something in the paleo kicked it down a lot. I still have it and when I do I try to…

Where in Oregon are you moving? I am in Oregon as well.

@sin....dude you are kinda awesome!

My guess is that people are really asking for "support" in the form of motivation. When there is a long road of 100 pounds ahead of you it is easy to get bogged down in it and feel like giving up and it is my impression, though I am new to this whole thing, that most of the people are here are looking for support and to…

Out of them I am most like the pear! I say...ugh I am so wide, all the time. But actually I am shapped more like a butternut squash :)

Try to look at it like this. If you are working it...realy working it and you "fail" one meal or one day you are not really failing. Just keep going. Failure only happens when you stop trying. And if you are trying more often than you are not then you are doing better than you were before. It takes at least 28 days to form…

Hey there. You sound sort of like myself when it comes to goals. I did WW a while ago. But I am really trying to eat a more natural healthy clean diet. I am eating paleo /primal. No processed foods. I am sucessfull at this about 80% of the time. That is better than not at all. I want to get off blood pressure meds. You are…

Hey Brandy: It is soooo hard to work around injuries. Make sure you listen to your body. I have done P90X and my chrio says that it is a little hard on the back the way it is exicuted (mostly the abs portion). Maybe try it but don't over do it or try to modify the movements some. If it hurts (in a bad way) stop. In the…

From what I can gather most are women but there are a few men. I am new too and have not really talked to too many on the boards so far. I was looking for the same thing...a little extra support from the boards. I love the app. Congrats on your sucess so far. Keep up the good work!!!

I had lap band 7 years ago. It has been a love hate relationship at times but I can do things now (like climb aerial silks) that I could NEVER have done at 300 pounds. I could barely get up my stairs at 300 pounds. The best piece of advice I can give you is make sur eyou have a good support system in place, friends family…

I have also been told by many many trainers and people that you don't always lose inches and pounds at the same time. So if you see a stall in the scale it is because your body is focusing on the inches part of dropping. So take victory in the size not the weight. In the end we are all trying to lose mass, not weight. We…

Oh I can so totally relate to this! I am totally that way. I have to really work at not freaking out about the calories. If I go out for sushi and I look up Tuna roll and there is one for 200 one at 280 and one at 370 there is a part of me that freaks out and is like "WHICH IS IT? WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG? FORGET IT I can't…
