=D I love NSVs! Mine was yesterday I realized my graduation ring wasn't on my finger (and I NEVER take my ring off). Got a little worried, but found it in the kitchen sink--NSV, dropped a ring size! Also, I now am at only 40 pounds on the assisted pull-up machine! And I think I might go down to 35 for some of my reps next…

Haha thanks for your enthusiasm. I just hope it fits! I tried a medium on in the store and it was pretty much a no-go. By quite a bit. So I'm hoping the large fits but I'm not 100% sure it will. I figure if it doesn't, it will just give me more of a reason to reach my goal. I hate how wonky store sizes are. I bought a…

@Heather: Wow!! Your time is AMAZING!! I hope I can get that fast one day! INSANEEEE. And btw, I was looking at your profile and I saw that you wanted to look awesome in your Modcloth dress? I wondered what it looked like? And here's the dress that I just bought and want to look awesome in:…

Now I just tend to put all of my songs on shuffle and listen to whatever pops up. I want to kill it when it is showtunes though. But I used to have a running playlist (I just ran too much and got tired of them) and it included: Kelly Clarkson: Catch My Breath Eminem: Lose Yourself Marina and the Diamonds: Primadonna Avril…

I try to check only once a week. It's usually in the evening, after I get off of work. But if I weigh myself on a Saturday it'll probably be a little earlier since I'll have a free morning. Really hoping my weight has dropped back down a little...

OP, I've been exactly where you are. I'm 5'8 and the 160's felt IMPOSSIBLE to get out of. But they're not (149 now). Glad you asked this! I feel like the answers have validated my decision to start the 30DS also. I'm on Level 1 Day 7 and also running five days a week, one rest day and one crosstrain day. So I'm super eager…

I use the scales at the gym I go to, the problem is that I go to two different gyms. Generally, I prefer the scale at the one closest to my home, it looks newer and is less wobbly so I feel that it is more likely to show my correct weight. However! It's been broken. So, at the other gym, closer to work, I decided to weigh…

I've heard great things about the C25k! Good for you for getting started on it. It's the best feeling when you can run a mile straight! You're gonna love it!! It becomes so addictive. I've been researching training for a half marathon/marathon this morning. I want to do it, it's just a matter of when. I also really want to…

Bump. My work has social networking sites blocked so I can't see the pictures, but I can't wait to see your progress! I'm on Level 1 Day 7 right now! But have been eating terribly (not always reflected in my diary...). I also go to the gym and do at least three miles on the treadmill everyday. So, I'm hopeful there will be…

Oh and when I reach my goal: 135 pounds (15 pounds!! ish) I'm buying a $148.00 gym bag from Lululemon!! I can't wait. Although...I'm starting to feel like I'm never going to get that low. =[

hello! Well, I must agree with Heather, you're definitely reacting in a positive way to a very sad circumstance. That's awesome and I'm sure your mom would be proud. I'm Amanda, I'm 22 and living in Atlanta, GA. You all seem so dedicated! Yay! And yay for "newbie" runners! Which I consider myself even though I've been…

Ice cream. I also cannot have it in the house. But currently do. =[ And those awful Nature Valley Pecan Crunch bars!! You think they're gonna be all great for you cuz it's NOT ice cream...but it's still 190 calories for one package AND it's processed so...sigh. I'm in a bad place sugar-wise right now. I need to get back on…

Yep. I dropped two pounds two weeks ago, got cocky and ate like a fool the weekend after, and gained it right back. Twas a very sad day. Fortunately, I'm learning how to focus less on the scale and more on my measurements. So, I'm not too heartbroken about it. The problem is I got myself hooked on sugar again. CURSE YOU,…

TOM will be visiting me soon...I cannot stop eating!! I CAN'T STOP. I want everything. But, trying to make healthy choices rather than fatty snacks...so for my lunch break I will be going to Target and getting some Nature Valley bars. Not that they are THE best choice...but it's better than a KitKat bar or Doritos, right??…

My NSV's: I managed to get my 5k time down to 30:51!! And, I pushed past the 3.1 miles and did 4 miles in 40 minutes! I absolutely used to hate running and I never thought I would be able to run a mile straight, let alone FOUR!! Also, I can now do a 2 minute plank and 40 regular push ups!! =DDD

This, occasionally. But worse for me is the hip bones. Every time I run into something with my hip, I've got at least three minutes of hell coming my way. But...it's AWESOME!

I've definitely gone up and down with maintaining a healthy diet. I also CRAVE sugar. Especially at one particular time of the month. And what's worst, is that usually after I eat the sugar, I crave salty foods, and then sugar again, and then salty, and it's an endless cycle! You know, ice cream, pringles, ice cream,…

I just started drinking warm water with lemon yesterday, and I felt great! Definitely more energized and I didn't feel like I was constantly craving food. It also seemed a lot easier to go to the gym after work. I had a hard time getting it down, I've never been a fan of water and lemon, but it was worth it yesterday. I am…
