So tired of seeing these kind of comments. It made HER feel better...that is what matters to HER. OP, thank you for sharing this. I have alot of the symptoms you originally had and never once have I considered a mineral/vitamin deficiency to be the culprit. Doctor confirmation...not a MFP dietary specialist know it all…

I started out at 291 wearing size 24 pants and 2x or 3x tops. As of this morning I weighed in at 213 and am wearing 14/16 pants and size large shirts.....I will be happy at an 8. My brain has definitely not caught up with my body though. Have been going thru a hard time lately of feeling the same size I was when I first…

Red head, blue eyes, lots of freckles and a ummm small temper..lol I spent all my time growing up hating my hair and trying to find ways to convince my mom to let me change it. I've finally come to terms with it now and actually like being different.

I plan on eating what I want. It is only one day. Load up on lots of protein!

I think I love you!!

Jiff peanut butter....not bad in small amounts I know but becomes a problem when I start eating it with a spoon

I seriously doubt you care about me and I seriously doubt I care about you. Might sound rude, but it is true. If you haven't realized it yet, "facts" are nonsense unless they prove to be true for you. Are you personally suffering from starvation mode? From what I can tell, you aren't and I'm not either. But not that I care…

How about this for an idea......why can't everyone just do what works best for them. If I can sustain on 1000 calories a day and feel fine, no problems, doctor actually says my health is better right now than she has ever seen it, then I will do that. If you feel that 1000 calories isn't sustainable for you, then you eat…

You can ALL do this...you have done the hardest part and that is to acknowledge. Feel free to add me if you'd like to!

I would also enjoy having someone keep me accountable daily..feel free to add me if you'd like

Don't wear your HRM all day to get an idea of how many calories you are burning. They are intended to be worn during periods of exercise only. A fitbit or bodybugg or that sort of thing would be better for wearing all day. You have definitely done your research and I commend you on that!! I would also have someone take a…

This is absolutely the best explanation...thank you!!

"Some people don't do cardio at all, since it's not necessary for weight loss or body recomposition." Where in the world did you get this information from??????
-
exactly
-
I get so tired of people saying this.....
-
Everyone feel free to add me...would love to motivate and support others and would love the same in return!! I'm GOING to lose another 70..I don't have any time limits on it, I just know it WILL happen...good luck to everyone, you can all do this!!

I've seen no physical benefits to working out in the morning versus the evening or vice versa. I always pick what fits my schedule best. As long as you do it, that is all that matters. I do feel better when I get it done early, but only because I feel like I'm ahead of the schedule and actually accomplished something..lol.…

I couldn't have said it better...this happened to me too

Now I'm really craving Mexican food....again!!

yes, what Holly said!!..lol...she knows her stuff :)

fajita chicken salad with salsa instead of dressing, light on the cheese?......carne asada steak with beans instead of rice....hmmmm, don't really know how their menu is setup...I always lean towards the fajitas minus the tortillas and sour cream and just use the salsa to flavor it up more...sorry I can't give any better…

absolutely the HRM, especially with the strap picking up your direct heart rate...as the weeks go by, see if your calories burned for the same intensity and time are going down with you getting in better shape...I experienced this as first too, but went with what my HRM monitor said and ignored the treadmill
-
Exactly what she said...I see too many people on here that freak out over one meal. One meal isn't going to change things. Just do your best estimation and move on from there.
-
I'm interested to see if you have ever tried this "glorified dancing" or if you just make quick judgements without the proof to back it up?
-
Do you remove your fitbit when you workout or do you leave it on? I worry about double counting calories that I've burned when using my HRM and fitbit together since it automatically syncs it to MFP.

Hi Jennifer! Feel free to add me if you'd like. You have done of the hardest things and that is stepping up to the plate and knowing that you want to do something to not only better your life, but also all 3 of your boy's lives as well. You can do this!! Look at what you do on a daily basis and how hard you work every day.…

Holy moly! yes you should...how old is your daughter and why in the world have you not looked into side effects before her starting this drug, especially with you working for a drug company?????

I'm a Melissa too and am called Michelle all of the time!! I've always wondered why people mistake the two for each other....I hated my name growing up because my brother started the nickname Mel
-
No, I hate it....put it this way...it is a word that rhymes with ox..and add a c on the front....you can't even begin to imagine how many times people spell my name wrong...and my poor kids are teased and tormented at school..especially my son in athletics..

I'm on 1200 calories and have been since I started MFP...I hardly ever reach that amount even though I try my hardest to. If I'm not hungry, I refuse to eat just to get to that number. If I exercise hard, my appetite increases itself so I eat then until I'm full. If you eat alot of high protein foods (chicken, fish, eggs,…
