because we live in a world where everyone has forgot how to mind their own business.....facebook...twitter...everyone has the need to publicize and scrutinize everyone for something that they don't feel is right...however, I don't see many people who have such harsh opinions on people here who constantly binge and go over…

so many things have crossed my mind since reading everyone's lists... any kind of potted meat...eeeek tuna...can't get past the smell, have never been able to even taste it

Awesome job..truly inspiring!!! And to all of those who say you can't do it on 1200ish calories a day and not eat your exercise calories back...hmmmm??? She proved you wrong :)

You are definitely going to get very opinionated answers on this question. Especially, the "my friend", "my co worker", "my sister" responses. I am proud to say that I have had the lapband done. Is it a quick fix? Hell no, it isn't...and anyone thinking it is or will be has been badly mistaken. That is why any qualified…

yummmmm...what time??..lol

I think the most important thing is to enjoy your time with friends and don't isolate yourself from them over a food choice. One dinner will not mess up the rest of what you are working so hard for. Like alot of others said, do some fajitas...shrimp, chicken, steak..you can't go wrong there. Guacamole is healthy…

what a supportive friend you are...she is so lucky to have you :grumble:

The cheater's way?? Seriously?? No cheating is involved regardless of which route a person decides to take. Either way is very hard work to be successful. You don't miracously wake up from surgery and two weeks later at goal weight. It takes hard work and dedication on your part regardless of whether or not you decide to…

You definitely need to up your protein and cut down on sodium levels. So much of what I saw in your diary is processed...loaded with sodium. I have trouble with the same thing at times.

To each, his or her own. I had the Lap Band surgery and have been very happy with it. I still eat normally....and OMG I still have my hair!! I take normal, yes normal vitamins that everyone else in the world can also take. Two months ago I had all of my levels checked and remarkably, my vitamin/minerals levels are higher…

Lol...this was my first thought...if you do convert..please post...I'm too mentally exhausted and lazy to even try

If all you want to do is bash the Atkins style, then why even respond and stir up a hornets nest? OP obviously is looking for support from Atkins users...not unsolicited advice on whether or not it is "right".....if you don't like it, don't respond and move on..thanks, have a great day!

naturally?? I always laugh when I see these type of comments. A band is simply a tool that has to be used. It doesn't miracously make fat and weight melt off of you. You have to "naturally" eat right and "naturally" exercise to have success.

you are definitely my closest twin...well, except for age...I've got you by 7 years... Age:37 SW: 291 CW:204 GW:150-160 Height: 5'5"
