This is a great post, even if totally fitness unrelated - unless we focus on calories burned while riding, which seems like a much more legitimate theme ;) I am still on my Yamaha YBR 125 as I have only complated my A full licence last week... Cannot wait for some money to be available for a *real* bike! Thinking yellow…

I suspect you need to do a forum search of 'eat more to weight less'. You're probably not eating enough - get your head around this very real fact before you feel that desperate. And bear in mind all the years you've been that heavy - too long to get on, may take more than 4 weeks to come off. Best of luck.

Just started today, will let you know in 14 weeks if it works ;) I have to say Insanity didn't do much for me. There was a heat wave and that was the end of my training - a week and a half before ending the programme. Little change, both weight and measuments, but a lot more muscle, especially upper body where I was…

Amen. Get a life.

Those are very individual results. I find MFP overestimates most burns. If you can afford it (some are fairly cheap) buy a hrm that counts calories for your particular age/height/weight and use it when exercising. These will be about 98% accurate.

This is the best post I've seen in a while. Thank you :flowerforyou:

I see your point, but I think you're making it much more complicated than it needs be. Calculate your TDEE set to sedentary/no exercise. Log in exercise. Eat calories back. Bam.

I'm in! Is there a set starting date?
'I was also eating more calories and not exercising very much.. that's why I'm wondering how to speed it up a bit. I'm sorry everyone feels the need to be so rude. Still a new thing to me!'
Probably, believe it or not (took me two years to finally try it out and start losing fat, until then I was starving…

Haha! Seriously, OP... Come on.

And yet another one, as it seems today a lot of ladies are posting on intelligent choices: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/835838-99-pounds-cause-i-need-a-win-today

Here you go, someone took a lot more time than me to explain it properly: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/539912-why-eating-exercise-calories-is-so-important

Do a search on the forums on losing weight by eating more. I know how crazy it sounds, it took me two years to believe it. With what you're eating, those 5kg you lost were muscle, not fat. The day you believe this and eat all you should be eating, with a good macros balance, you start losing fat. Also read on TDEE. There…

And that is the problem! I checked your diary and most days you don't eat enough. Below goal? That's a MFP myth, that you'll be doing better if you eat under. Just because they mention it on your news feed, it doesn't mean it's good. You're starving your body and it's coming back to hit you straight in the face :) Eat what…

I'm sure this will work, as it is the only recipe in here that can 100% mask the taste of those evil buggers.

I am by no means an expert, so my advice is for you to search existing threads on the subject. All i've read lately does advise weight training, as not only it trims you down, but also builds muscle which will, naturally, burn more fat - even when you sleep. Plus, it makes for lean, well defined bodies (you'll need shakes…

I would never tell on an old lady stealing canned soup, people go through terrible difficulties. Maybe if she was stealing whisky I'd let her know I had seen it and asked her directly to put it back. Now in this particular case, I think you did the only thing these was to do. Calling the police would probably mean the kids…

Are you saying what makes these two people love one another after 20 years is a piece of paper? Like he wouldn't love her anymore and would have left if they were not married? What?
-
Are you sure? Maybe this is the only thing you're doing wrong :)

Great work!

Oh, it's that sideways thing, I've checked now ;)
