Congrats on becoming a runner! I have the Garmin 10 and absolutely love it! I do not use a HRM and have found that I don't really need it. Thanks guys! I just got a new pair of running shoes from Fleet Feet where they did gait analysis less than a month ago so I think I'm ok on shoes. I'm thinking that the pain is probably caused by my muscle weakness and I will for sure read up on those exercises!

I have read on here before to log them as low impact aerobics :) Which is what I do! Her workouts are much more than walking! Hope this helps!
