I didn't do the row the world challenge so I'm not sure but this whole thing sounds like a lot of fun! I'm excited!

Haha Instant gratification FOR HER!

Nope! My boss is a woman... Plus, the potential awkwardness (or worrying about it getting out) working with that person every day would not make up for the raise. I work for a big corporation with checks and balances. "Suddenly" getting a hefty raise would raise much suspicion for both parties.

Awesome! Thanks!

Gathering a team as we speak (err...type) !

I just looked into it and I'm Adrenal also. Are you following this strictly? What does you daily meal plan look like? What changes have you made/noticed?

I actually lost more weight in the winter last year than I did this summer. The key is to STAY ACTIVE. I snowshoe, snowboard and go sledding with little ones. I use my gym card frequently. I take exercise classes. There are plenty of great root vegetables that can be eaten in the fall and winter. Vegetables, fruit and lean…

Flexing my abs and arms to feel the toned parts! I'm definitely a collarbone toucher as well. I also talk about vitamins, exercise, vegetable and protein ratios as much as I do on here "in real life" now.

I dont' personally because I feel like our bodies adapt to those ranges of motion over time. Any calories burned are just a bonus!

haha, I didn't know there was any other way but this!

I love zumba because it's fun and it works. I love running because I can FINALLY clear my head, push myself, find my pace and achieve my "runner's high". I love lifting weights because it helps me focus and I love seeing the results. I love feeling like a strong and fit woman. Okay...I just LOVE exercising! Is that so…

EXACTLY. Living well is the best revenge. Friendship is possible but after MUCH TIME of not speaking. Do your own thing, but I wouldn't reach out to him. That's not "closing" anything. Good luck!

MYSELF for comforting myself with food when parents, relationships and general life stuff challenged me. Now I pride myself on my education and dedication regarding nutrition and fitness.

VERY noticable difference! Congrats on your success!

I used to have a co-worker like that! DROVE ME NUTS. I think a kind way to handle it would be like "I had a terrible morning today. I don't want to talk about it. I just need a few minutes to decompress and get into my work mind set. Nothing personal (although it is)". Then do the same thing the next day!

ONE-DERFULS CHECKIN' IN! We're still going strong....a few people haven't checked in in a few. I'm sure life is in the way. No worries! Miles as of 8/26/11 Amelia_atlantic: 88 Just_Peachy: 46.23 SueGeer: 137.3 Cavewomancoby: 33 GRAND TOTAL: 304.53!! Keep it up y'all!

Congrats! You deserve all the happiness you have manifested for yourself.

She is obviously a very intelligent woman. How could her perspective on health be so skewed?! Reciting stats about tax payers, insurance companies and sexual fetishes does not explain the pure stress she is putting on every organ of her body. She's deflecting. Honestly, I don't understand the "enjoyment" of not being able…

It's the sodium. Try to drink some extra water once you feel up to it and a banana (it beats bloat!)

Yet you feel GOOD in them! Focus on that first and foremost. You're here making the effort. You will be rewarded. Don't give up!

I think that's cute! I would say something like "Saw this and thought it was your style!" in the card. That way she'll appreciate the sentiment first before the material aspect of the gift.

haha...DUH! I thought it was a phone wake up service you could call! It is CLEARLY Monday.

May I be so naive to ask...what's 46and2?

I've always had good luck with Saucony. They wear well but they're a little on the heavy side.

I'm in the same boat as you! Mornings literally piss me off. :grumble: Luckily, I can walk to and from work so I start the day with that but it's only 3 miles round trip. I'd like to get up early enough to eat a good breakfast (instead of oatmeal at my desk) or SPRINT my route because I'm going to be late for work. Should…

I used to work at a bakery and our bread was fantastic! It was very dense but all organic. The honey wheat (for example) was about 120 calories a slice (of a traditional sized loaf). That seems to be the average. Sprouted wheat or rye bread is usually about 80 calories a slice.

My name is Amelia. And I am a pizza addict. I LOVE those morningstar burgers! They definitely hit the craving. Sometimes I'll just put tomato paste on a sandwich thin (or everything bagel thin) with some shredded cheese and oregano in my toaster oven. Healthy "bagel bites"! Lean cuisine has a decent french bread pizza.…
