Under Armor!! I'm a full C but I have a friend who is D and we both swear by them. Nothing moves but you it's not the kind of compression that gives you a uni-boob.

The only person who should be affected by not training is the person who didn't train. If they're miserable, it's their fault. We certainly can't assume someone who skips an obstacle or is slower than the pack didn't train or put effort in. We do these races for ourselves for whatever reason at whatever pace. We can't…

A lot of studios offer beginner's deals, too!

I practice heated vinyassa (not as often as I'd like)(which would be every day). I takes effort but using positive affirmations, practicing grattitude and replacing negative thoughts with positive ones can change your life. I get randomly generated affirmations here every day:…

Hello I'm vegetarian, fairly active (exercise 3x a week) and my calories are set at 1600. I'd be curious to see how everyone else at this range is doing. When I do go over, it's usually because of avocados and olive oil (and wine!). Feel free to add!

Amazing! Good for you! I think the healthiest thing you did was change your attitude and relationship with food. This new mindset will help you keep it off!

It's hot and humid but I prefer it! You can get into the poses better and it's just an overall sense of cleansing. I do heated vinyassa which is more cardio and arm balances because there's a "flow." It doesn't matter the last time you practiced. You can always lie in child's pose if you need a moment.

Exactly! The hardest lesson to learn when coming back to fitness is: Anything is better than nothing. 20-30 minutes of exercise is better than no exercise. "It doesn't matter how fast you go; you're still lapping everyone on the couch". Consistency is key. Also, food choices make the biggest diffrence (re-learning that…

Since January 1, I've lost 2.2 pounds. Everyone's body is different. The key is consistency. You can't rush anything! Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep seeing results.

I eat every 3 hours & make sure to include protein with every meal. A good trick is the "apple test" to determine if you're really hungry or just bored. When you find yourself thinking about food; think about eating the most perfect apple. Does that sound appealing? If so, you're probably legitamately hungry. If not,…

I haven't done Tough Mudder yet but I've done long-ish obstacle course races. Best training I found was trail running and stopping periodically to do burpees, push ups and "bear crawls". There are a lot of free or cheap training Apps. I'm lucky enough to have a mini obsctacle course in a local park where I live. I…

I go "dry" for a month twice a year. I'm alcohol free right now too! I love using exercise, cleaning or food prep as stress relief instead of vegging in front of the t.v. with a glass of wine. I don't drink that much but it's amazing how much better I'm sleeping! 8 full hours and crazy dreams. The best part is no days are…

SO incredible! You just look so much happier and full of life in the second half of pictures. Truly inspirational!

I already had a rant about this on facebook. I respect the January crowd for making the commitment to themselves (there ARE 11 other months in the year though...) but I don't respect gym's inability to accomodate. If you sign up 1000 people in one day but 15 treadmills are broken there is a problem. No one; seasoned gym…

Probiotics are great. Also, sweet potatoes, kiwis, banana and coconut water are high in potassium which really helps.

Depends on what I wear. I'm pretty sure I have grey eyes!

Copptop since '85. Depending on the sun exposure, I'm either a pasty auburn or a blistered redhead.

As others have said, you have to really think positively. Force yourself at first if you have to! Maybe make a list of 5 things you're greatful for since losing weight? I also recommend taking some yoga classes. It'll help you feel connected to your body (and your head and your heart). You have accomplished A LOT. Keep…

@ninjamaid: I will NOT say Wonder Woman but BLACK WIDOW!

Most redhead celebrities: Florence Welsh (Florence and the Machine) Gillian Anderson (X-Files) Emma Stone (Easy A) Oddly, gotten Rachel Wiecz (sp) before too...

Plan meals ahead of time before you grocery shop. No wasted food, no wasted money. Do you have a crockpot? You can make tons of cheap dishes with very little effort. Soups, stews and chilis last for days and are easy take along lunches. Whole wheat pasta is cheap, just remember portion sizes. Frozen veggies are very quick…

My net is 1500 and eat almost every drop, every day. I also exericse a minimum of 3x a week.

In a way, yes! Calorie wise; I feel so much better after eating 5 times a day vs one meal of pizza/fries/chips etc. I feel like I enjoy food much more now because it's about the tastes and the pairings more than the quantity. Once I finally learned what a proper serving size was, it was game on! 5 portioned and planned…

Very tough position to be in. I feel for you and your family. As generic advice: know your rights, his rights, the laws and acknowledge the impact on your kids one way or another. Personal opinion: most men in prison claim to be "changed men" because they are forced to change by the institution. I wouldn't take any action…

Try incorporating some high potassium foods: banana, coconut water, kiwi, sweet potatoes etc. They all help reduce water retention. Also, watch your sodium levels. Are you eating a lot of processed/packaged things? As others have said: weigh yourself once a week in the morning before you eat or drink anything. Weigh…

Let's just complete the imagery, shall we... [/quote] HAHAHAHA AMAZING. My big question is why was no one concerned about her?! All that weird vibrating and her tongue sticking out? CLEARLY, she was having a epileptic episode...

My favorite dress. It was too tight in all the wrong places. This was a dress I wore on every plane ride on every beautiful trip I took last year. It was the most comfortable, the most flattering to my body and the most trendy thing I had. Now, it's basically suffocating me. I know how to do it. I've been way heavier.…

Reading the labels. Calorie content and the ingredients usually deter me. If there aren't labels (like if you're at a restaurant); I'll log into MFP quickly and get an approximate calorie count. Thinking about the time spent slugging on a treadmill after eating gross foods turns me off...most of the time. :)

Coconut water! Runny eggs and toast. Green smoothies (extra banana). And of course tons of regular water.

I love both! I do heated vinyassa yoga (and I've done Bikram). Both are a mental challenge as well as physically demanding. I feel just as strong as I do at peace after a session. Plus, my shoulders look amazing! However, I had signed up for a MMA training gym at a low point in my life. I really attribute punching and…
