Take a day off and enjoy, I lost a heap of weight during my festival going heyday ... Sounding like an old man now ... Ah, Glastonbury 95 ...

It's a personal thing but some people don't sleep well on a lower carb plan. I added magnesium to my nightly routine and this helped, I was less than 30g carbs a day for a few months. Now I'm not low carbing I still add magnesium actually. Works the same way as Epsom Bath Salts. As far a mood swings go I'm a cranky bugger…

Pasta sandwich bad? ;)

I'm afraid of how awesome I can actually be.

I did ketogenic for a bit, went well to start then my body told me I was stalling ( energy dips, no great fat loss on not many more calories than I'm on right now and doing well) so I switched back to everything in moderation. I'm glad I did it as I think I was intolerant of carbs and needed a reset, I could never go a few…

I hear ya, the 'Dry Blanket' poster :) OP, go out and enjoy :)

Never logged exercise, never logged alcohol ... Somehow I trust they will cancel each other out :)

Doh!

Looks like I'm doing it all wrong :)

I avoid spouts, avocado and broccoli, nothing to do with diet though. OK Jenni ... 'Nutritional plan' then ;)
-
Exactly that ... I used to have them with hot sauce ... Crazy days.

I go on clothes fit so half a notch on the work trousers belt to hit the last one comfortably. Lord know what that is as a number.

I am packing a specTACular amount of tinned tuna in the cupboard.
-
Meal 1 today was ham and pea soup with much added tuna, baked beans, tabasco all mopped up with a few slices of white(!) bread and swiftly followed by a few scoops of creamy ice cream. Red wine chaser to finish. It wasn't consumed in the AM though ;)

Yup, Lyle is well worth a read too.

Yup, in a world of fads he tells it straight, good book that.

Bingo ... Sort the engine out first, then worry about the fuel (quantity and quality). It doesn't work the same for all because we all have different metabolic rates and tolerances to such things as fast digesting carbohydrates. If you have insulin resistance then you'd better be paying attention to your fuel and not just…

Ice cream daily here too, good stuff, creamy ...

I only drink on special occasions. Being alive is pretty special, right? ;) Good luck with whatever path you choose :)

Once during the working week (which lasts all evening) and probably five meals (including snacks) a day at the weekend. I prefer to run lean and a decent deficit during the week and reset the system at the end. I used to get blood sugar swings too and wouldn't have been able to go all day without food, since I low carbed…

More like desert for me. That's what a few years of marriage will do for ya ;)

Bladerunner ... I'm not saying it just to be a contrary ****, I really don't see the appeal.
-
Inspirational, I'm giving that a go. I have ice cream daily, that's my dessert, Neapolitan at the moment and very, very creamy.

I hear ya, I have to lie about my birthplace to get through the filter, I like S****horpe too.
-
Ice cream daily here, whatever is in the freezer, raspberry ripple preferably. And never, ever 'diet' or 'lite' abominations.

You share your apples?

I have great shoulders even if I do say so myself. Damn they are fantastic. <steps back, wolf whistles at his fine self> Being rapidly followed by my legs once I can shed this bit of inner thigh wobble. Jeez, it's a close run thing all over these days. When people say alcohol is fattening I will show them proof positive it…

Yep, but I will say that since my low carb days I crave food a lot less. And I wasn't diabetic so it may be worth cutting sugar for a bit for some people. Maybe, I dunno, I'm just a bod on the internet. ;) I was probably insulin resistant or something. These days I ignore pretty much everything apart from getting my…

I go on clothes fit, I have a belt that I know I once got down to the last notch on comfortably and that is my goal. I wear it during the working week so that's my feedback. I last weighed in July 2012 and I will do it again when I hit goal for curiosity more than the number. I guess this means I have to be honest with how…
