  • Great job! I'm 5'8" working from 150 to 130 so it's nice to see a very similar comparison. You can definitely see the change!
  • I don't, they only total around 30 calories or so. It makes sense to add them to check nutrient values but I prefer to see how much of my nutrients are coming from food. I've always heard it's much better to get nutrients from food than pills when possible, so this helps me see how I can improve my diet.
  • I agree! Some things I find out are more calories than expected and some less. Today I had a piece of garlic bread for lunch. The box gave calories for 1 slice (39g) but when I weighed mine it was actually 50g - 35 extra calories. Yesterday was the opposite, I used some frozen fruit in my smoothie. The bag had calories…
  • I've also heard a lot of good things about it. The actual ACV smells and tastes so bad to me so I'm trying the tablets, so hopefully those are good as well. Some say it's an appetite suppressant too so I'm hoping for the best!
  • For low prices I'm happy with the Champion ones they sell at Target - usually $13-15. But I'm not a big runner or anything, so I'm not sure how they would hold up to that. For jogging & the elliptical though I like it.
  • Thanks everyone, I've added everyone so far. Thanks for the support!
  • I'm set at 1500, but no educated reasoning behind it. I've just heard 1800-2000 is generally maintenance, so I knocked it down a little, but not too far that I wouldn't be able to sustain it. I'm only trying to lose 20 pounds so I don't mind if it's a bit slower, and so far it's working!
  • I'd like some more friends, especially those with open diaries that I can read for ideas and motivation. I'm 23, 5'8", and currently 145lbs. I'd like to be somewhere between 125 & 130 I think, but for now I've set the goal of 135 by the beginning of June.
  • I try to do this, at least breakfast through lunch. I eat lunch out often at work, and I try to log it so that I can make a good choice before getting to the drive thru. If I didn't research and pre-plan it, I would end up with a 900 calorie lunch. This way I can make sure I get a decent option at Subway or Wendy's. Same…
