I beg to differ. I know Dr. Gregor who is the author of nutritionfacts.org, and it is NOTpropaganda. If you don't agree, fine, but please don't label it as propaganda. Thanks.

Hi! I'm 5'9". I started at around 190 and am down to 176.5. My goal 160 (10lbs at a time). I've often been at 160 and actually felt pretty darn thin at that weight. I was once 135 when I was much younger, and looked aneroxic! I think somewhere between 150 and 160 is a great weight for this height. All the best to you!

952, and it;s 2:45 pm here. I was just thinking I didn't save much for dinner, so it's going to have to be a light one! My daily total is 1350. :)

5'9" and currently 177. I started at 190. My goal is to get first t0 169, as that's where I've been in the last few years, and then get down to 160. Being this tall, that weight equates to a size 8/10 for me. Best of luck to us all!!!!

Hi. I would definitely encourage you to give up meat and go the plant based (or plant strong) route. A good website for health and other information is: fok.com which stands for "forks over knives", which is a documentary that was made last year. Very informative and interesting. I went vegan a few years ago, and recently…

Smoothies are great anytime, but particularly in the morning. I've done smoothie challenges before, where you drink nothing but them for 3 - 7 days. For health and nutrition reasons, it's better to use kale, chard, even arugula, and other greens rather than spinach. If you add fruit, you still won't taste the greens too…

Hi all you tall, beautiful ladies! I also am 5'9". Like a lot of you I've fluctuated over the years and am currently at my max weight which is 185, down from 190 where I started a little over a month ago. I've always had this unrealistic number in my head to get back to which is 145. I say that because, I've been down to…

Just wanted to add that I use organic, virgin coconut oil to pop popcorn. It tastes really good, and I feel like I'm getting the benefit of the belly busting fat AND having a good snack at the same time. If you love the tast of coconut, you'll love popcorn made this way! I have one of those stovetop popcorn poppers, and it…

On the contrary...I'm a Dr. Oz lover too! I DVR his shows and write down all the recommendations. I haven't actually enacted any of them YET (because I just started doing this) but some of his advise makes lots of sense and why not try it? I also like the fact that he's so emphathetic and you can see how intently he…

It's hard--- but only once a week. I used to weigh everyday, (OK, sometimes twice) but I found that the fluctuations were defeating. Once a week gives you a better overall assesment of where you're at.

The great thing is...you are going in the right direction! I just lost 1.5lbs. my first week and I'm happy with it. The trainer at my gym says that losing it slowly helps your body adjust better and you won't lose as much muscle with the weight loss. Keep going and don't get discouraged.....a pound of fat is pretty…

All I can say is hang in there! Keep doing what you need to do and the weight WILL come off! Best of luck!

For any of you out there that are vegan...I make green smoothies the night before with fruit of your choice, maybe a small banana for texture and lots of greens, i.e. kale, chard, spinach, etc. Whirl it all up in the vita mix, put it in a to-go container and then take it to work in the morning. It's satistying, easily…
