I am in week 5 and walking at 3.5 and running about 5.0 to 5.2. Its a challenge for sure.

My kids are too old for daycare but the YMCA offers free child care up to 3 hours a day. Look into them if you live near a Y. Mine enjoyed going when they were young. You have to tell them what part of the Y your going to be in so they know where to contact you.

Take baby steps. Make small goals. Use this site and log everything. Its not easy but I broke a fast food addiction. You can do it. If you want to know how I did it let me know.

I have to say just keep on going. I just finished the 4th week. Its a real challenge for sure.

It really can vary. I burn about 450 on average. I have gotten up to 600 though.

Just for info. At the end of week 4. I went 2.30 miles on the treadmill.

Those numbers seem close to what I am getting if I ride the bike and use the treadmill. I am also doing couch to 5k but in week 4. I am walking 3.5 and running 5.2. I am 217.5 lbs 5 10 and 36 years old.

I have been doing zumba since April of 2012 and had already lost a few pounds by calorie counting. The majority of my loss has been with zumba being my main workout. I notice that I burn more in a class compared to working out with a dvd though. I am slowing down some on zumba because I am challenged myself to do the couch…

My husband is so proud of me and tells me how great I am doing. Sometimes, I feel presson to keep going or make it to zumba on days where I either want to do another workout or just relax at home. I think he gets afraid I could slip into old habits. I suppose that's a normal fear to have. And a weird thing happened today…

I personally just don't give it my all when I workout at home. I need the gym but that's just me.

I am a caregiver for the elderly. Mostly in home care one on one or a married couple. Its not really medical feild but we are trained in most the areas cna's are trained in.

I am in the middle of it now. One more run in week four. My daughter is doing it and that inspired me to do it. I am finding it extremly hard at this point. But I do like the challenge.

I ate out of boredom and a lot of emotional eating to feel better when I was sad or mad about something. Also just not a lot of planning meals when I went to work. Way too much fast food.

I got one a cpl weeks ago and I love it. It encorages me t move more. However, if its sync with mfp it adjusts your calories. What I haven't figured out is why it takes them away.

I would have to say nutrition but I have never had much luck with weight loss if I didn;t diet and workout together.

Thanks everyone, I will have to think about this some more. Like the idea of being able to check in with the weighing more often and the wii scale would allow me to do that.

If you already have the wii. If you have places that sell the wii board and game you can get it for under 40 probably. I like it but don't actually work out much cause I don't care for others watching me. I like having the scale though cause I don't have one otherwise.

I used to think an hr doing zumba burned off over 800 calories and with the hrm I was actually hitting 400. It was a bit of a shock and after getting over it. I am getting my numbers closer to 600. I have always cycled my calories caue I thought at times I had a huge amount of calories to carry over. I still cycle calories…

I haven't really expressed those kind of thoughts but I have to ask you a question. How ever how much you have gained did you do it in three days? Or go up from one size to another in 3 days? Probably not. Give it time and you can brag about your new size when you get down.

It used to be hard for me to remember to drink it. My son bought me this huge water bottle and I never go anywhere without it. I fill it up about 3 times.
