I have a fitbit one.. I find it more accurate than the wrist ones.. it's just how I feel based on what others have said about them. It's not as fancy or cool working but I have tested it for accuracy and trust it.

Thanks guys.. My tummy is doing the pre race jitters.. Resting up for tomorrow.

I been running for 3 summers. I only run in spring and summer and I do a 12 or 13 minutes mile. Maybe slow down.

There isn't a 10k so half marathon it is.. My Tuesday run felt better than Monday and today felt better than Tuesday. My first mile is always my hardest. . I been trying to break in new shoes but feel more confident in my old ones. . I got them early summer.. I googled how to fuel for the half marathon and it mentioned…

It depends on the temps of the air and the rain.. I really wouldn't start a run during a rain but if it starts while I am running I just keep running.. what else am I to do.. It's refreshing to a certain point.. but when the shoes get really soaked then it's kind of a bummer.

Why would I laugh? Honestly, I came to your post so I could read something funny and laugh..Ugh.. no laughter here.. darn.. well.. anyways, your speed is faster than mine.. I run a mile in 12 to 13 minutes.. so don't laugh at me.. or do I don't care. :)

Hi. I hit my goal and then screwed up and gained 15 pounds. I am struggling to get it off. I know its my eating habits and trying to make better choices.

Not sure about the 10k. Might look into that.

Thanks everyone. No time limit that I am aware of. Hopefully next couple runs will feel good. I will update after the race.

Thanks for your kind words. Happy everything worked out for your nephew. My daughter appears happy with her family life.

I just wrote about my struggle with running after a short illness and break from running. Get well soon.

Nevermind how tall you are. I see. Excuse me but I am tired from too much work.

Hi. I am Cristy. I started at 272 too.. I got down to 170 but my weight creeped up to 185. I am struggling to get it to budge down. Good news weight isn't going up. May I ask how tall are you? Good luck hitting your goal.

I don't know. I am interested in what others think. I had one week where I had 4 runs totally 26 miles and for me it felt like too much.

I take care of the elderly and one of my clients live in a retirement home. I see treats dropped off for the nurses but its not offered to me so I don't eat it.. But when during activities they give residents treats I am offered it. I am trying to get stronger and decline some if it.

I am divorced and have a live in boyfriend and 16 year old son. Not sure if that qualifies as single parent. He has never had kids so doesn't do family stuff really so a lot of time I am on my own.

I like them. I add a veggie but I do find myself hungry shortly after having them.

Hi. I too won't and don't run in the winter. I keep hours where I could run during day time hours but it's not fun for me at all.. I love the heat. I just can't run on a treadmill. I find it tough on my knees. I just don't run during the winter months. I do stay busy with taking my fitness classes.. typically when it…

Tuning in for same thing. I take iron and it makes my digestive system go on an extended vacation. A probiotic worked for a while for me but not anymore.

Buy them already boiled.

14 pounds but hopefully scale won't go in that direction. :)
-
That doesn't sound good. Feel better soon.

Yes. I have done this. Partly because I find dinner much harder to log. I know how but I had quit logging for quite a few months and gained 15 pounds back.

Hot tea helps me.
-
That is my speed.
-
How much are you eating? It shouldn't be like that.
-
Thanks. I won't worry about the zone.

I used c25k to train for my first 5k but after that I just started adding longer times to my run. I am training for my second half marathon and will just add minutes to my run.. Meaning I will decide how long I will run... Run half of it and turn around. I am not going to focus on miles for the next few weeks.
