It tastes nothing like pizza, but it is nice.
-
Wow, who cares what its called, really?! Thanks OP, I did this all the time on my last cut, and totally forgot about it this time around.
-
Hahaha i'm in as well
-
Not really the same since you can't train boobs. Not sure why so many skip leg day, obviously people entering comps don't so I guess maybe some guys who just want to look good on the beach think chicks don't care about the lower body or something?
-
Step ups, kneeling squats and hipthrusts are good to. Don't forget to build muscle you need to eat in a surplus
-
Stop when you are happy. Personally I hate when my body fat is that high, but I do lift. Can't really go to low without muscle. You could go down to 18-20% I guess but its really up to you.
-
TBH I don't think theres any problem with having private judgements and jokes. Its when you start putting it out there and therefore actually shaming people about their bodies thats the problem.
-
I started with the book new rules of lifting for women, was a great place to start. There is also stronglifts 5x5 which is a website
-
This. Yikes. Once you are eating check out stronglifts 5 x5 or new rules of lifting for women to start with.
-
Or you can weigh all of it, divide the weight by number of servings then weigh out 1 portion
-
I should clarify I don't think girls should be forced to do girl push ups or vice versa, I'm just not bothered by the name
-
I really hope you are purposefully missing my point otherwise this is just getting ridiculous. I have already admitted that it has two meanings, there is even two meanings in the link I posted. My eyebrow raise was at the person who apparently found it hysterical that you corrected me, even though I had already pointed out…

 http://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/hoo-ha
-
Don't worry I don't need to edit anyway as that's not the word I was looking for :P I did indeed mean to say hoohaa, but wasn't thinking what that was slang for elsewhere
-
LOL I suppose I could word that better. Except now I'm trying to word it better the only word i can think of is uproar and that seems a little harsh
-
Yep, in reality I've got a pretty moderate opinion as well. Not out to make anyone call them girl push ups, I just don't understand the hoohaa about the term
-
LOL Odusgolp, in my opinion, racist comments and "girls push ups" are two completely different things. I wholeheartedly believe that this term has zero negative effects, since again, as mentioned I suffered no effects from it, neither did anyone else I know, and even the people arguing the offensive side on here haven't…

Even if it is slang, which I guess to be fair it is, what is wrong with slang? Its well known slang, so its not like its something the teacher has made up and noone knows what he is talking about. I know the issue is the people who don't believe its called that find it offensive, but from my point of view its completely…
-
Apologies, that was someone else in the thread. Although you did suggest your daughter talk to the teacher about it. They are known by all of those names, and also girl push ups. Just the fact that everyone in this thread immediately knew what a girl push up is without having to be told shows that.

I don't like the risk of injury/rhabdo if you have a bad trainer, I know there are good trainers out there, but it seems like maybe crossfit should have more stringent rules to pass before you can officially represent their brand, since it is a highly dangerous sport if you don't know what you are doing. I don't like the…
-
You would go talk to the teacher about this, really? Its just what they are called, doesn't mean boys can't do girl push ups, or girls can't do real push ups. They were called girl push ups when I was at school to, and it hasn't lead to a life of me or anyone else I know of thinking that's all im allowed to do and i'm…
-
This. I used to do it as a kid, I hated it, but then I hated all exercise then LOL. It's good steady state cardio though
-
Sometimes things don't match up quite perfectly as MFP deals only in whole numbers, no decimal points.
-
In my opinion canned chicken has a slightly different (not as nice) taste to fresh. However yes it is safe to heat
-
IIFYM go ahead and eat it. The extra protein certainly won't hurt you. However, HRMs are not accurate for strength training, so make sure you are not overeating
-
You can find out your TDEE and customise your own goal, however if you were eating 1800-2000 before and gaining or maintaining weight since I assume you were since you are here trying to lose, then 1570 sounds about right.
-
Yep, though its still got a ways to go before i'm completely happy with it (more muscle, less fat)
-
1200 is typically the smallest amount you would want to net, for health reasons (as a guide for the overall population I mean, individually speaking you shouldn't be eating below your BMR), but most people can lose weight eating quite a lot more than that.
-
Bummer. Maybe you could get something like this for your arms http://www.walmart.com/ip/Carex-Pedal-Exerciser/6537516 boring as hell I know, but you could do it while watching tv or whatever
-
Unfortunately for you being in a wheelchair you probably burn less calories day to day (I assume anyway), as well as it being harder to find a suitable exercise. You can of course do it just by lowering cals, but could swimming be a good option for you? I think just going by the way your clothes are fitting is a great idea.
