Log it, how else are you supposed to know if you are still in a deficit? Besides, if you see how much it truly is it might help you stop.
-
Thanks. At least i'm not the only one in this position. Hopefully a fix for it soon.
-
No, some people just think they can. Those are the people we are laughing at in this thread.
-
Sounds like a pretty good father to me

Your doctor told you that you are definitely eating under 1200 calories and therefore you have managed to get 83lb overweight? If this is true then you need to see a new doctor when you want to talk about weight issues (a dietitian would be even better). If that was how it worked we would be seeing overweight anorexics.…

1200 is not the BMR for women, everyones BMR is different. You need to be eating less than your TDEE to lose weight, the most accurate way is to work out your own calories and make custom goals on MFP. But if you prefer to use the 1200 calories MFP gives you thats fine. Yes you do need to eat your cals back so you net that…
-
I don't understand why you would want to lower your protein, but if you do, just click home, then goals, the custom and change it there
-
Just wondering how feminists are the reason that you don't stay at home?
-
Agree with DavPul, losing fat is the only thing that's going to get rid of the highly fat. Make sure you are in a deficit, and eating enough protein, then just keep doing what you are doing.
-
Yep. Foods gotta go somewhere.
-
Hahahaha this! TBH I could put on a robe in only a second if I had to, but if my house was burning down I think the last thing i'd be worried about is clothes. pretty sure the neightbours would be out to cover me up pretty quickly anyway LOL
-
So, not such a bravenewdgirl then?
-
Sounds like, if it was legit, she could afford the tv, just not the house to put it in.
-
I have two young kids who don't respect boundaries, if they don't wanna see me nekkid in my own room then they will learn to LOL
-
To me it also sounds like you are not following the program, and not eating in a deficit. Fixing these might not make it more enjoyable for you, but it will get you results.
-
Sounds legit
-
Your macro goals look fine to me, so as long as you are eating in a surplus you are doing fine
-
I imagine it would be minimal enough that you should probably just consider it a bonus burn. Thats what I would do anyway, I would consider it to make up for days where maybe i burned less than I thought. Wouldn't bother eating any pacing cals back.
-
LOL ETA: tvfangirl I think you owe stormy an apology for using her legit excuse as part of your pisstake.
-
If you have stalled then I would agree to stop eating it all back. I would guess that the 1300 number that you started with may have been slightly off in the first place?
-
Yeah pretty much this. I'm out. MIght still read for the lols though :P
-
Because you only brought it up when someone gave you the handy excuse, rather than mentioning earlier why you couldn't move out within the first few pages of people suggesting you move out. Flatmates is when you go rent a house with other people, where you all pay your fair share and do you fair share of looking after the…

You would still lose weight rather than maintain (as long as you weren't underestimating food or overestimating burn) as MFPs numbers already have a deficit built in
-
Because if you are eating (for example) 1200 calories, then go burn 500 calories you have in effect only ate 700 calories which is not enough. That being said if you are using MFPs estimates I wouldn't eat them all back as they are known to overestimate.
-
Yep. Sad.
-
If you can afford a tablet and starbucks you can look at moving out of home, even if you have to go into a flatmate type situation. At the very least you can afford to start paying board if you don't already so your mum will be less pissy.
-
Is this the same chick being talked about earlier or have i missed something else?
-
If this is the case then I apologise for all previous comments. However if you need to still be living with your mum maybe contribute more to the household, presumably you are doing something wrong if she is feeling the need to take the tv off of you. But I suspect you are saying this now because of previous comments in…
-
So go work more hours and/or get a better job then.
-
If this is the case then I certainly apologise for my comments. Doesn't sound like this is the case though.
